　　總結用review，在這里用了現在分詞形式，不失為一種簡單而又正式的方式。在后半句的翻譯中，英文和漢語語序整體大相反，注意“經濟社會發展”的表達方式：in economic and social development.

　　必須堅持把人民群眾利益放在第一位。

　　We must always put the interests of the people first.

　　這句話翻譯起來比較簡單，注意“把……放在第一位”put……first.

　　翻譯整段，必然會有個別長句，這就需要我們把握整體結構，表明大意即可。這段話是很正式的會議截取，所以咱們翻譯時很多詞組或者句子結構都是有據可循的。比如這句“著力解決關系群眾切身利益的突出問題”，翻譯的時候，沒有完全按照漢語語序，而是把“關系群眾切身利益”翻譯為現在分詞作后置定語結構 affecting their vital interests.

　　本句很長，如果譯成一個句子，會造成英文太過于復雜，因此把同前面的意思銜接不是很緊密的部分“人生是無法和諧得起來的”另起一句。同時注意“同自己過不去”的翻譯方法，譯成“make things difficult for himself”。
