　　青年奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)是專為全世界青年人設(shè)立的綜合體育賽事。第二屆夏季青年奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)于2014年8月16日至28日在南京舉行。本屆青奧會(huì)的口號(hào)是“分享青春 共筑未來(lái)”;寓意全世界青年人在奧林匹克精神感召下，歡聚一堂，相互切磋，相互鼓勵(lì)，增進(jìn)友誼，共同成長(zhǎng)。吉祥物創(chuàng)意來(lái)自雨花石，意為提倡自然、運(yùn)動(dòng)、健康、快樂(lè)的生活方式;會(huì)徽將南京明城墻城門和江南民居輪廓組合在一起，勾勒出“NANJING”字樣，寓意青春之門。
