考研英語4個長短句翻譯練習

　　1. Above all, like their female human counterparts,they tend to pay much closer attention to the value of "goods and services" than males.

　　【分析】簡單句。句子主干為they tend to pay much closer attention to…。介詞短語 like...counterparts作方式狀語。整個句子是一個含比較結構的主謂賓句型。

　　【譯文】最重要的是，就像人類當中的女性一樣，它們(雌性猴子)往往比雄性更關注“商品和服務”的價值。

　　【拓展】1)counterpart在句中意為“與對方地位相當的人，與另一方作用相當的'物”，還有“副本，復本”意思。2)tend to do “易于...，往往會...”。

　　【譯文】他們沒有出臺行動計劃，相反只是繼續迫切要求進行更多的研究——這是一個典型的“分析導致麻痹”實例。

　　【拓展】paralysis by analysis意為“分析導致麻痹”，指無休止地研究一件事，致使最終沒有任何行動。
