Care for the elderly
Supporting the old is the traditional virture of Chinese people and children’s responsibility and abligation .
In this picture we can see old parents are sitting on the couch ,with disappointment and unhappiness because there is no child coming back to celebrate with them. But they receive presents.
Today young people spend so much time on working ,that they will never feel free to live with their parents .On festival days ,they probably share a little time to drop in their parents or even just send some presents like the picture.
With the development of the society, our old parents feel more and more lonely. We should spend more time to talking with tem accompanying them.
Reading
Reading is a good habit which we can benefit knowledge from. Firstly it provides us with the information of what is happening around us. As we are living in the information age, reading plays an important part in our daily life. Secondly,when tired of working and studying ,we can read some interesting and funny books to enjoy ourselves. From reading we can get some useful thing which can not be got in class.
Reading should have a good choice. I think books which can make us laugh are good for us. Also books which can enhance the ability to adapt to the society are another good choice.
Reading should have good strategies and skills. Some books we should read word by word, while other books we should read by quick viewing. Reading skills play an important role in our daylily study.
Effects of TV programs
Some TV programs can bring positive energy to our society, such as where are we going dad? TV programs are capable of widing the horizon of us. We can take the Science and Education channel as example. This program increases our knowledge storage. After words some TV program can develop the level of our eloquence. As we know, the oprah win frey show is very famous for it’ diction. Some TV programs can bring negative effects to the society. For example after watching some TV programs, people will be behind the wrong trend of fashion . Children who like watching cartoons, usually imitate the favorite role doing. According to the broadcasting, some children lost their lives.
In a word, we can watch TV programs to help us in our study or use it as a way of entertainment. But we must not spend too much time on it or be addicted to it.
