when在定語從句中用法

當先行詞（就是要被修飾的詞）是表示時間的day,year,the time 等時候，用關系副詞when 來鏈接定語從句，在句子里面是做時間狀語，表示在...時候 。
定語從句--關系副詞when
關系副詞when在定語從句中用作狀語，表示時間，用以修飾表示時間的先行詞；在許多情況下可以理解為“介詞+which”的意思(which的意思與先行詞所表示的意思等價)，其中的“介詞”通常應根據先行詞的含與搭配來確定。如：
1988 was the year when he was born. 1988是他的'出生年。
句中的when he was born為修飾the year的定語從句，關系副詞when在此相當于in which。表示在某一年，英語習慣上用介詞in，如in 1988, in 2008等，所以此處用in which。
I’ll never forget the day when I first met you.我永遠不會忘記第一次見你的那天。
句中的when I first met you為修飾the day的定語從句，關系副詞when在此相當于on which。表示在某一天，英語習慣上用介詞on，如on that day, on Friday等，所以此處用on which。
Don’t forget the time when the wedding will start.不要忘記婚禮開始的時間。
句中的when the wedding will start為修飾the time的定語從句，關系副詞when在此相當于at which。表示在某一時刻，英語習慣上用介詞at，如at that time, at the moment等，所以此處用at which。
定語從句引導詞 when
例
The nightwhen we took a stroll in the parkwas so cold.
咱們在公園散步的那個晚上好冷。
night 做主語，被定語從句when we took a stroll in the park 修飾。
I remember the nightwhen we took a stroll in the park.
我記得那個咱們一起在公園散步的夜晚。
night變成了賓語，被定語從句when we took a stroll in the park修飾。
What I can never forget is the nightwhen we took a stroll in the park.
我永不能忘記的是咱們一起在公園散步的那個夜晚。
night變成了表語，被定語從句when we took a stroll in the park修飾。
以上三組例句中，when后面所接的都是完整句，并且when 后的從句時態和主句一致。前提是when充當的從句的時間狀語，相當于是at the night.
所以，以上三句，可以把when都改成at which。

There was a time when...... 曾經。。。
There was a time when people were never bothered by pollution.
曾經人們不用為污染煩憂。
We all experience a day when......我們都經歷過。。。
We all experience a day when everything goes wrong.
我們都經歷過事事不順心的一天。
we can never ignore the time when......我們絕不能忽視。。。
We can never ignore the time when computers penetrate our life and study.
我們不能忽視這個電腦滲透進我們的生活和學習的年代。
做題，試一試：(when or which ?)
I still remember that Sunday _____ he invited me to his hometown.
I still remember that Sunday _____ was his cats birthday.
The time _____ he gave us was not enough.
The holiday _____ we spent in Shanghai was wonderful !
The holiday ______ we traveled to Shanghai was wonderful!
1. he invited me to his hometown on that Sunday 有介詞！做狀語！用when，不能省！
2. That Sunday was his cats birthday.做主語，是個名詞！用which，不能省！
3. He gave us the time. 做賓語，是個名詞！用which，且可以省
4. We spent the holiday in Shanghai.做賓語，是個名詞！用which，且可以省
5.We traveled to Shanghai during the holiday. 有介詞！做狀語！用when，不能省！
還有一點：倘若介詞尚在，就不要用when,因為when = during/in/on/at 等介詞＋which 里面有介詞，用了就重復了！！！
