做好首字母填詞題有哪些方法和技巧
“首字母填詞”是根據句意和已給的首字母，在句子的空白處填上適當的單詞，使句子意思完整，語法正確的一種題型。這一題型是近幾年全國各地中考英語適應新的教學大綱要求而出現的一種新題型。該題型既考查學生的單詞記憶和拼寫能力，又考查學生對句子和“四會詞語”的理解和運用的能力�，F在談談做好此類題目的方法和技巧，供同學們學習時參考。
1. 通讀全句，正確把握句意，并分析已給的句子部分，確定應填的單詞。
2. 檢查。
1 ）檢查填入空白處的單詞詞性是否正確，例如，作定語修飾名詞時，要用形容詞，作狀語修飾動詞時，要用副詞等。
2 ）檢查單詞詞尾是否需要詞形變化，即詞尾是否要加 -s / -es ， -er / -est ， -ing / -ed ， -ly 等。
3 ）復核全句。檢查空白處填詞后，句子是否通順、單詞拼寫和大小寫字母是否有誤等。例如：
Jim runs faster than Jack.
The baby is hungry. Mother is feeding her.
Jeff hates playing basketball， but he likes football.
