英語口語“換草運動”

　　The term “acquaintance blind date” literally means “exchanging grass”, withgrass referring to young men. Such events are usually initiated by “leftoverwomen” — single women who have passed the best age for getting married. Thesewomen may bring single male friends, colleagues or relatives to a get-togetherand expect to find their Mr. Right among their peers’ male friends.

　　“換草運動”其實就是熟人召集的相親會，這里的“草”指年輕男子。這種活動多數都是由大齡單身女們組織的，她們會把各自身邊的男性朋友、同事或親戚組織到一起參加聚會，希望能從對方帶來的朋友中找到自己的另一半。

　　This event originates from an online post that proposed to exchange malefriends or colleagues with other single women since it’s not a good idea todevelop a romantic relationship in the same office.

　　“換草運動”是由網絡上的.一個帖子引發的，發貼人提議，既然大家都不方便發展辦公室戀情，那就跟別的單身女交換認識身邊的男性朋友或同事。
