盤點雅思寫作中的連接詞

　　在雅思作文技巧中，使用連接詞是非常重要的一個，使用連接詞可以說是實現段落內部表達連貫的最主要的手段，恰當的應用連接詞可以讓考生的雅思作文更加的完整，聯系的更加的緊密。

　　表示并列的連接詞：First / second / last, also, and, as well as, at the sametime, equally important

　　句子： It seems that the experience we have in life are so unpredictable andso powerful, that they can boost or over-ride other influences, and there seemsto be plenty of research findings to confirm this.

　　表示遞進的連接詞：furthermore, in addition, moreover

　　句子： It is true that it is only those who reach the top of their professionwho can get these huge salaries. They are, in effect, rare talents. Furthermore,the majority of stars do not hold their top positions long.

　　表示舉例的連接詞：as, for example, for instance, in fact, such as, that is, toillustrate

　　句子： The majority of stars do not hold their top positions long. Sport starsand pop stars, for example, are soon replaced by the next younger, moreenergetic generation, while the good looks of most film stars quickly fade.

　　表示態度的連接詞：strangely enough, undoubtedly, fortunately, unfortunately,most importantly, surprisingly

　　句子： However, reaching the conclusion that change is inevitable is not thesame as assuming that "change is always for the better". Unfortunately, it isnot always the case that new things are promoted because they have good impactson the majority of people

　　表層次:First; Second; What’s more; In addition; Apart from this; Last but notleast;

　　表觀點: Personally; In my opinion; As far as I am concerned; As far as I know;What I want to stress is that…(我想強調的是…); … hold the opinion that… 某人持有…的主張;According to sb, …依照某人的觀點看,…;

　　表轉折: However, …… ; …., but …

　　表讓步: Although/ Though, …; Despite the fact that…;

　　表因果: Because/ As…..; Since/ Now that, …Therefore, …; …., thus,…; …., so…;

　　表遞進: not only…, but also…; …as well as;

　　表概括: In a word; In short; To sum up;

　　連詞 如but, and,后接句子，連接并列句時前面逗號可有可無。當然連詞也可放句首，這一點在考官范文里有很多體現。

　　例：In the past, populations were partly regulated by frequent war andwidespread disease, but in recent years the effects of those factors have beendiminished. (并列句中的連詞) 段落開始： But how should it be achieved ( 連詞放句首)

　　介詞 如before, despite：后接名詞或動名詞 例：Before talking about the essential role ofdeath penalty, you have to think about the meaning, and the purpose, of any kindof punishment.

　　副詞 副詞連接并列句，前面用句號或分號，后面用逗號(當然，如果副詞前用句號，那就是另起一句了，不稱之為并列句) 例：In many placestoday, children start primary school at around the age of six or seven. However,because it is more likely now that both parents work, there is littleopportunities for children to stay in their own home up to that age.( 副詞另起一句)The crime rate is increasingly high; therefore, the government needs to enforcemore laws to curb this situation. ( 副詞在并列句中)

　　短語 如on the contrary, in addition：用法和副詞用法完全一樣 例：They feel this is one areaof life where they have the right to make decisions for themselves. For thatreason, it would seem that the best approach would be work by persuasion ratherthan compulsion. The government plays a crucial role in scientific research; onthe other hand, private companies hold certain advantages in conductingscientific research. ( 短語在并列句中)
