到2050年，我國65歲以上的人口將達(dá)到總?cè)丝跀?shù)的約四分之一。由于死亡率(mortality rate)的降低和計劃生育政策(the One Child Policy)，中國人口正在高速老齡化。這將給中國政府帶來養(yǎng)老金難題，而且可能會降低中國未來的競爭力。隨著我國社會經(jīng)濟(jì)的迅猛發(fā)展,人民生活水平提高了,醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生服務(wù)也得到了改善。不少人對我國日益增多的老年人口表示十分擔(dān)憂。但有專家指出，一旦我們看到人口老齡化背后所蘊藏的貿(mào)易契機(jī)和豐富的才智經(jīng)驗，就會意識到老齡化雖然給我們帶來了巨大的壓力，但是我們可以將壓力轉(zhuǎn)化為機(jī)遇。

By 2050 about a quarter of the total population in China will be over 65 years old.The Chinese population is rapidly ageing,due to a lower mortality rate and the One Child Policy.This will lead to a pension problem for the Chinese government and may reduce China's competitiveness in the future.With the rapid development of our society and economy，people's living standard and medical and health service are improved.Many people are severely concerned about the increasing number of older people.But some experts say that though it brings us enormous pressure, we can transform the pressure into opportunity when we realize the trade opportunity behind it and abundant resources such as intelligence and experience.

當(dāng)前，城鎮(zhèn)化(urbanization)的全球趨勢以及世界人口穩(wěn)步增長的趨勢已經(jīng)持續(xù)了很長時間。對于發(fā)達(dá)國家來說，沒有跡象能表明城鎮(zhèn)化會導(dǎo)致人口增長 (population growth)。但在發(fā)展中國家，城鎮(zhèn)化和人口增長則緊密相關(guān)。城鎮(zhèn)化對中國有某種積極的影響。隨著越來越多的人集中在城市尋找工作或商業(yè)機(jī)會，工業(yè)也隨著大量勞動力而繁榮起來。
