英語作文展示：all those friendly people
In my final year of university,I failed a very important examination for my college degree. What's worse,I was refused in a job interview, which had taken me much time to prepare. Sadness possessed me and I locked myself in my room all the day.
To cheer me up,my dad sent me some money for the coming Christmas.I could have done a number of responsible things with it, such as paying for my student loan or adding it to my savings account,but I didn't. Instead, encouraged by my friend, I bought myself bakery lessons.Surprisingly,the classes attracted me so much.Each Saturday morning,the same faces would gather to embarrass ourselves in front of professional and
bake something that hardly look like real.Although baking a fancy cake was still a challenge,the classes gave me a chance to expose myself to people ho weren't coworkers or friends, helping me forget about my self-pity. It gave me an excuse to take it easy on a Friday night, and get out of the house on a Saturday morning.
As time went by, I was gradually back on my feet.I decided to take the exam again the next year. The world can sometimes feel very cold and cruel, so every once in a while,we should remember to treat ourselves and be optimistic.I'll always be glad I got to take the few classes that I did. I'm still glad I got to talk and laugh with all those friendly people.
