英語語法常用的目的狀語從句聯(lián)詞

目的狀語從句：從句部分是用以補(bǔ)充說明主句中謂語動(dòng)詞發(fā)生的目的的。
表示目的狀語的從句可以由that, so that, in order that, lest, for fear that, in case等詞引導(dǎo)；
目的狀語從句的謂語常含有may, might, can, could, should, would等情態(tài)動(dòng)詞。
例如：
You must speak louder so that /in order that you can be heard by all.
He wrote the name down for fear that(lest) he should forget it.
Better take more clothes in case the weather is cold.
引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句常用的連詞有： that（以便），so that（以便）， in order that（為了；以便），Lest（免得；唯恐）， for fear that（生怕；以免）。
【例如】
Say it louder(so)that everyone can hear you.
大聲說，以便大家都能聽到你。
I am telling you that lest you should make a mistake.
我告訴你這一點(diǎn)，以免你搞錯(cuò)。
學(xué)習(xí)目的狀語從句應(yīng)注意以下兩點(diǎn)：
（1）目的狀語從句中常含有can,could,may,might,should等情態(tài)動(dòng)詞。
【例】
I got up early so that I could catch the first bus.
我起得很早，目的是為了趕上頭班公共汽車。
（2）在口語中so可以引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句。
【例】
We'll sit nearer the front so we can hear better.
我們坐的靠前一點(diǎn)，因此，我們聽得清楚一點(diǎn)。
【注意】in order that與in order to的區(qū)別：
in order that+從句
in order to+動(dòng)詞原形 （ in order to后面加的那個(gè)不叫目的狀語從句，叫目的狀語）
目的狀語從句的一個(gè)特點(diǎn)：由于目的都是未來的行為，
所以從句中一般用表示未來可能性時(shí)態(tài)，比如上面兩句中的could。
當(dāng)然還可以用will,would,can,等
結(jié)果狀語從句的連詞
以下結(jié)果狀語從句的一些用法。
1) so … that…/ such ….that
該句式中重要考查的是so和such的區(qū)別。應(yīng)注意以下可能出現(xiàn)的結(jié)構(gòu)：
so nice a boy that…
such a nice boy that…
so beautiful/diligent/carefully … that…
such (fine weather/great improvement) that…
2) so that
Everyone lend a hand, so that the sowing was done in time.
該句式中主要考查so that 與其它短語的區(qū)別，如：
I took no notice of him, ___ he flew into a rage.
A.for that B.so that C.in that D.but that
由于so that也可以引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句，同學(xué)們應(yīng)特別注意從句中時(shí)態(tài)的運(yùn)用。
3) so much so that
該結(jié)構(gòu)用于形容詞或副詞之后，表示"到如此程度以致于"。如：
He was very weak, so much so that he could not walk.
I long to visit Beijing, so much so that I dream about it every night.
4) 注意結(jié)構(gòu)狀語從句與too….to..enough to…, so… as to結(jié)構(gòu)的不同。

在句中作目的的狀語從句稱作目的狀語從句。目的狀語從句可置于句首、句中或句尾。
常用來引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句的關(guān)聯(lián)詞有：so、so that、in order that、for fear that、in case （that）、for the purpose that、lest等。
（一）in order that、so that引導(dǎo)的目的狀語從句
In order that常用于正式文體，可置于句首，也可置于句尾，而so that往往只置于句尾，但也有置于句首的，so that短語中有時(shí)可省略that。
例句：We shall let you know the details soon so that/in order that you can/may make your arrangements.
不久我們將會(huì)讓你知道詳情，以便你們能夠做出安排。
例句：I've decided to learn photography in order that I may record the beauty of nature.
為了能記錄大自然的美，我決定學(xué)攝影。
注意！不定式結(jié)構(gòu)in order to do/so as to do（邏輯主語相同）或in order for sb. To do（邏輯主語不同）也可以表示目的，可與in order that引導(dǎo)的目的狀語從句相互轉(zhuǎn)換，上面兩個(gè)例句可改為：
We shall let you know details soon in order for you to make your arrangements.
I've decided to learn photography in order to record the beauty of nature.
（二）for fear (that)、in case、lest引導(dǎo)的目的狀語從句
for fear (that)表示目的時(shí)，意為“唯恐、以防”；in case意為“以免，以防有某種情況發(fā)生”；lest意為“以防”。這三個(gè)短語或詞都相當(dāng)于in order that……not……，so that……not……。
例句：Shut out the windowlest/in case it should rain.
關(guān)上窗以防下雨。
例句：The victims all seemed afraid to say the factsfor fear it might start trouble.
受害人似乎都不敢說出真相，怕引起麻煩。
例句：She pulled away from the windowlest anyone see her.
她從窗口躲開了，免得有人見到她。
例句：I stayed all day at home in case (that) you called.
我整天待在家里以防你打電話。
