Lisa:Hell. Where else are we going then? I need to finish my graduate paper tomorrow.
Classmate:I am going to the school library tomorrow morning and will stay there until evening.

“占座，讓座”用英語怎么說？
seat的意思是：座位，席位
1.grab a seat既可以用來表達：霸占別人的座位的意思；也可以用來表達，：趕緊找個座位坐下的意思。（說話時，需要根據語境和場景來理解這句話）
Try to get early and grab a good seat.
盡量早點去，占個好座位。
I can always grab a seat on the bus.
我在公交車上總能占到座位。
2.save a seat占座
一般指的是：讓別人幫忙給保留一個座位。
Could you save a seat for me anyway?
你能幫我占個座嗎？（這種表達很日常化）
如果你幫朋友占了個座位，有人想坐，你就可以這樣對他說：
Im saving this seat for my friend.Its taken.
我幫朋友占了這個座位，這兒有人了。

這有人了。有的時候，我們雖然說這個座位已經有人了，但是還是會有人，一屁股就坐下，
通常這種行為我們可以叫做：“霸座”。
4.snatch a seat
通常可以用來表達：霸占了別人的座位，還特別理直氣壯的這種占座行為。
It is rude and ridiculous to snatch another passenger’s seat on the train.
在火車上霸占他人座位即無禮又荒唐。
讓座，就是把座位貢獻出來，或者放棄自己的座位，
所以我們可以使用：offer或者give up.
offer ones seat to sb.
Joe offered his seat to a pregnant woman.
give up ones seat to sb.
He gave up his seat to an elderly lady yesterday.
很簡單吧，其實有的時候，如果你真不知道怎么用英語說“讓座”，又不得不表達清楚，這種情況下可以換種方式，可以直接告訴那人“here, please”，或者說“sit here”，別人也同樣可以理解你的意思，同時表達的說法也是正確的。
