　　Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and suppleknees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, and a vigor of the emotions; it is thefreshness of the deep springs of life.

　　青春,并非人生的一段時光,而是一種精神狀態;亦非粉頰紅唇和冰肌柔骨，而是剛強的意志、靈秀的想像和充滿活力的情感;它是使生命之泉永不枯竭的常青樹。

　　Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years.We grow old by deserting our ideals.
