英語口語：如何表達數(shù)字

　　英語口語表達是不少人的薄弱環(huán)節(jié)，尤其是關(guān)于數(shù)字的表達更是不少人盲區(qū)。下面，小編就來教大家如何表達地道的數(shù)字英語口語。

　　3.Millions

　　Numbers are read in a specific manner in English. Read numbers in groups of three in the following manner in English:

　　英語中數(shù)字的讀法有一套具體的規(guī)則。在下面的數(shù)字中，分三組讀出來。

　　million, thousand, hundred

　　百萬，千，萬

　　2,350,400 => two million three hundred (AND) fifty thousand four hundred

　　NOTE - Remember: Use ‘and’ only between hundreds in British English. American English leaves the ‘and’ out.

　　Read decimals as the given number point XYZ

　　Read percentages as the number followed by ‘percent’

　　讀出百分數(shù)的數(shù)字，后面跟上percent。

　　37% - thirty seven percent

　　12% - twelve percent

　　87% - eighty seven percent

　　3% - three percent

　　6.Fractions

　　Read the top number as a cardinal number, followed by the ordinal number + ‘s’

　　先讀出分子的基數(shù)，再讀出分母的敘述，最后跟上s。

　　3/8 - three eighths

　　5/16 - five sixteenths

　　7/8 - seven eights

　　1/32 - one thirty-second

　　注意: ¼ 讀作one quarter，2/3 讀作two thirds,，½ 讀作one half。

　　4.Date - 12/04/65 read dates month, day, year in the US or day, month, year in the UK

　　4.日期—12/04/65 美式英語中按照月、日、年順序，英式英語按照日、月、年順序。

　　5.Temperature - 28° C (celsius) OR 72° F (fahrenheit)

　　5.溫度—28° C(攝氏度)或72° F(華氏度)

　　Read temperature as "degrees +number": twenty eight degrees celsius OR seventy two degrees fahrenheit

　　在讀度數(shù)的時候，按照“度數(shù)+單位”的順序：twenty eight degrees celsius或seventy two degrees fahrenheit。

　　6.(高度)- 1 m 89 cm / 6'2''

　　Read height first meters then centimeters, or feet then inches: one meter eight nine centimeters or 6'' 2' six feet two inches.

　　先讀米，再讀厘米，或者先讀尺，再讀英寸：one meter eight nine centimeters or 6'' 2' six feet two inches。

　　Read the currency first then the number: Sixty dollars

　　讀貨幣時，先讀數(shù)字，再讀單位。

　　Read a fraction as the number over a decimal: eight thirteenths

　　讀分數(shù)，按照十進制方式讀：eight thirteenths。

　　Read scores as "number + to + number": Two to one.

　　Ordinal numbers are used when speaking about the place in something such as in competitions. Most numbers end in 'th', except first, second, and third of every ten numbers.

　　序數(shù)詞一般在某地的位置時才會用到，例如比賽。大多數(shù)序數(shù)詞以th結(jié)尾，除了整十數(shù)字中的第一，第二或第三個。

　　附：如何學習英語口語？

　　第一，去學習小對話。基礎(chǔ)不好的同學，一步一步來，先單個句子，再一問一答的兩句對話、再剛剛的小對話、繼續(xù)拉長。當然了，這些單句、對話都只是載體，里面英語本身涉及的語法要不要糾清楚就看你是想練好先口語還是雙管齊下了。但有一點，這些有情景的口語句子用起來會更簡單些了。這是直接的輸入過程。

　　第二，就是找老外、英語地道的中教邊學邊聊英語了，你一句我一句，情景交際以及反饋再真實不過了。一定要有學習的過程，可能是free talk里你發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的盲區(qū)了，有些想法不會表達，趕緊記下來或者問老外。可能是你發(fā)現(xiàn)老外表達一個想法時用的句子很新穎有趣，而你不會這樣說的，記下來。可能是你老外拿著課件在給你上課，邊教你新東西也讓你邊用。如果沒有學習過程，你只是在炒冷飯，聊一輩子你只會hello、thank you、r u ok?goodbye。這是輸出反向推動輸入的形式。

　　第三，看英文原著。英文原著里有對話，可能并不多，但是作為單詞過萬的英文書提供的情景交際功能是其他的方式不能比的。前面某些看不懂的部分等你看到后面才懂了，也是因為這些情景有時候還有跨度和跳躍性。 如果你10個小時看完一本原版英文書，那就是說此英文原著給你創(chuàng)設(shè)了10小時的純英文環(huán)境，就相當于你在英語母語國家生活了10小時，所以才會有說有效看完20本英文書就行當于在英語國家生活了一年，這就是原版英文書的魅力所在，上面的兩種方式能持續(xù)的時間都不長，唯有英文書，你讀不完，你可以去在里面生活一輩子。 原版英文書看得多，單詞量會漲、短語句型收集一大把、英語思維的培養(yǎng)更是明顯，至于英語寫作，簡直信手拈來，走馬觀花不過腦子不做筆記的除外。當然，此方法和第二種方法配合使用效果會更好哦。
