　　The language for physical descriptions in English is quite specific depending on the physical characteristic you are describing.

　　根據所描述人的外貌特征，英語中的外貌描述是非常具體的。

　　When giving physical descriptions, the two most common verbs to use are BE and HAVE, however, they are quite specific.

　　描述一個人的外貌特征時，最常用的兩個詞是 BE 和 HAVE，但這兩個詞的使用也十分明確。

　　We use BE for: height, weight, skin colour.

　　什么時候用BE:描述身高、體重、膚色

　　We use HAVE for: hair (length), hair (style), hair (colour) and facial features.

　　什么時候用HAVE:頭發（長短）、發型、頭發顏色以及面部特征

　　Height 身高

　　Short - Medium height - Tall

　　矮—中等—高

　　Weight 體重

　　Skinny - Thin - Slim - Medium weight - chubby - fat - overweight - obese

　　骨瘦如柴—瘦—苗條—中等身材—圓胖—胖—超重—肥胖

　　Skin Colour 膚色

　　Fair-skinned - Tanned - Dark-skinned

　　皮膚白皙—古銅色的—皮膚黝黑

　　Hair (Length) 頭發（長短）

　　Short - Medium length - Long

　　短—中等—長

　　Hair (Style) 發型

　　Straight - Wavy - Curly

　　 Chris is medium height. Chris中等個頭。

　　 Patrick has a long beard and he also has a black eye right now. Patrick留著長胡子，有雙黑色的眼睛。

　　 Tony is tall and has medium length hair. Tony很高，頭發不算長。

　　If you want to combine hair characteristics together in the same sentence, then the structure is:

　　如果想把頭發長短、發型、顏色包含在一句話中，句子遵循以下結構：

　　Length + Style + Colour + Hair

　　 Michael has short curly black hair. Michael有著黑色的卷發，而且很短。

　　 Mary has long wavy brown hair. Mary的頭發是棕色的波浪形長發。
