2015TIMES英國大學專業排名（人類學）
人類學，顧名思義就是研究人類的本質的學科。從生物和文化的角度對人類進行全面研究的學科群，最早見于古希臘哲學家亞里士多德對具有高尚道德品質及行為的人的描述中。在19世紀以前，人類學這個詞的用法相當于今天所說的體質人類學，尤其是指對人體解剖學和生理學的研究。
在美國，當代人類學通常劃分為四大分支：文化人類學(也稱為社會人類學)、考古學、語言人類學、生物人類學/體質人類學。這個四大分支的人類學也反映在許多大學部教科書，以及許多大學的人類學課程。在英國以及許多歐洲的大學，這些分支往往安置在不同科系，且被視為不同的學科。
英國開設此類專業比較好的TOP10大學為：劍橋大學(University of Cambridge)、牛津大學(University of Oxford)、圣安德魯斯大學(University of St Andrews)、倫敦政治經濟學院(London School of Economics and Political Science)、倫敦大學學院UCL (University College London)、倫敦大學亞非學院(School of Oriental and African Studies)、杜倫大學(Durham University)、蘇塞克斯大學(University of Sussex)、布魯內爾大學(BrunelUniversity)、曼徹斯特大學(University of Manchester)。
