裝修會用到的英語單詞

　　講真，在建筑發(fā)展的今天，裝修一次已經(jīng)廣泛走入人們的視野。有關(guān)裝修，我們整理了一些常需用到的英語單詞，希望對大家有用。

　　1).floor n.地板，地面

　　When I entered his room,l found the books were scattered all over the floor

　　2).plank n.木條，板條

　　In order to ordinate my new house,I bought lots of planks in advance

　　為了裝修房子，我提前買了很多木板。

　　3).pave v.鋪(地)

　　The road from the garden to the gate is paved with bricks

　　從花園到大門的路是用磚鋪的。

　　4).tile n.瓦，瓷磚

　　Many houses in the country are roofed in blue tiles

　　農(nóng)村很多房子的屋頂都是用藍(lán)瓦鋪蓋的。

　　5).ceiling n.天花板

　　Suddenly, he saw a fly on the ceiling

　　突然他看到天花板上有一只蒼蠅。

　　6).plaster n.灰泥，v.用灰泥抹(墻等)

　　The plaster on the walls of his room began to flake

　　他房間的灰泥開始掉落。

　　7).wall n.墻，墻壁

　　You have to chip the old paint from the walls, before you repainting them

　　你必須先把舊的油漆全部刮掉，然后重新刷過。

　　8).paint v.在……上刷油漆;n.油漆，油漆涂層

　　Before applying the paint, you'd better clean oft the corrosion on it.

　　你上油漆前，最好先把上面的銹跡全部除去。

　　9).design v.設(shè)計，構(gòu)思;n.設(shè)計，布局

　　Your room is designed with good proportion.

　　你的房問設(shè)計的比例很均衡。

　　10).upholster v.裝飾(家具)

　　The young girl upholstered her room with pink curtains

　　那個年輕的女孩子在自己的房間里裝上了粉紅色的窗簾。

　　11).decorate v.裝飾，裝潢

　　Professor Zhang prepared to decorate his new house

　　張教授打算把他的新房子裝修一下。

　　12).adorn v.裝飾，打扮

　　What materials do you want to adorn your bedroom?

　　你想用什么材料來裝飾你的臥室?

　　13).ornament n.裝飾品，擺設(shè)

　　All of the students were curious about the ornaments in the museum.

　　所有的孩子都對博物館里的擺設(shè)很好奇。

　　14).curio n.古董，古玩

　　Collecting curios is one of my grandfather's hobbies

　　收藏古董是我爺爺?shù)囊粋�愛好。
