　　現在沒有人知道中國的背包旅行現象確切的淵源，不過成千上萬的人已經加入到這種生態自助型的新旅游活動中。而想要成為“驢友”，你不一定要年輕力強，也不一定要囊中富足。“驢友”們很多不過是口袋空空的學生，每一次旅途都需要精打細算，而另一些人則可能已到了中老年。有的人徒步到偏遠的'地方泡上好幾個月，有的在周末來一次遠足，他們總是準備著探索旅程中新的道路，發現驚喜。

　　Today no one knows the exact origins of the backpacker phenomenon in China, yet tens of thousands of people have joined in this new eco-centric activity. If you want to be a “Donkey Friend”, you are not necessarily young or affluent. Many are impoverished students budgeting their travels very carefully; some are middle-aged parents or senior citizens.
