一、分句法
把原文中一個單詞或短語譯成句子.使原文的一個句子分譯成兩個或兩個以上的句子或干脆把原文的一個句子拆開，譯成兩個或兩個以上的句子
如：八月中旬，修理組人員在驕陽下工作
譯: It was in mid-August, and the repair section operated under the blazing sun.(一個單句拆分成了一個并列復合句.
二、合句法
把原文中兩個或以上的簡單句，主從復合句或并列復合句等譯成一個單句。
例：她已試了好幾次，要幫他們另找一所出租的房子，結果并未成功。
譯文:She had made several attempts to help them find other rental quarters without success.(多個簡單句合成一個單句.
三、正譯法
就漢譯英而言，就是把句子按照與漢語相反的表達方式譯成英語。
例:我們強烈反對公司的新政策
譯: We strongly object the company's new policy.
