英語六級寫作parallelism的使用技巧
六級寫作當中，適當使用(其實一篇文章有那么一句，足矣，考試當中字數有限制)排比句，也就是我們常常說的平行結構 parallelism�？梢允刮恼略跎簧伲绹偨y一向以演講和講稿的eloquence 著稱。以下，列舉美國總統講稿中的parallelism 予以彰示。
對小奧當選后的獲勝講演，更多人關注的是講演內容，而我對其文章結構和語言的運用更感興趣，特別是其中的排比句。排比結構是英語演講中最常使用的一種重要修辭手段,它以語法結構對稱來突出意義的常見修辭手法。運用排比結構能突出演講者的雄辯口才和強烈情感,使得演講文稿極具說服力、震撼力和欣賞性。小奧顯然是這方面的高手。
1.用在從句開頭:
If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.
(注意其中用了三個不一樣的動詞)
2.用在段首:
Its the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen; by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different; that their voices could be that difference.
