2. temple n. 廟宇
temple一般指佛教廟宇，而church則指基督教教堂，清真寺則稱為mosque。

3. tedious a. 乏味的，單調(diào)的
表示乏味的的詞還有dull，boring等，他們的區(qū)別如下：
tedious 側(cè)重指文章、演講或演出等冗長(zhǎng)乏味，也可指環(huán)境等的單調(diào)、沉悶，缺乏活力，使感到不舒服。
dull 指缺乏新鮮、吸引力或情趣而顯得乏味、沉悶。
boring 指無(wú)精打采或不滿意的感覺(jué)。
monotonous 指沒(méi)有變化，重復(fù)單調(diào)的。
tiresome 指某物因看起來(lái)無(wú)窮無(wú)盡或毫無(wú)變化而令人厭倦。
The mayors speech is so tedious that people are absent-minded.
市長(zhǎng)的演講很無(wú)趣，人們都走神了。
