各種車的名稱英文說法匯總

sedan(saloon) 三廂轎車(四門)
wagon (Station wagon or Estate car)旅行轎車
hatchback 兩廂車(含三門、五門)
coupe 雙門四座車，也就是通常說的轎跑車，雙座的`也行，但更多叫roadster
minvan 廂式旅行車(奧德賽，但小了點兒，典型是豐田大霸王、克萊斯勒大捷龍那樣的)
convertible (Cabriolet )敞篷車，通常是軟頂，前面可以加soft-top
convertible coupe或hard-top convertible 硬頂敞篷車
roadster 雙門雙座車 早期專指沒車頂兒的，現(xiàn)在有車頂也叫這個
Limousine 特老長那種轎車，林肯、卡迪等
van 面包車，典型是道奇公羊和福特全順
SUV 都知道了
off-roader，硬派越野車
crossover 混型車或跨界車，現(xiàn)在這個比較時髦，多數(shù)是SUV造型，更強調(diào)舒適性和空間
MPV 途安那類(途安還是小了點兒，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)7/8座最好)，minivan可以歸在這里
pick-up (truck)，皮卡，就是小貨車，駕駛室分Standard cab (一排)、extended cab (一排半)、 Crew cab (兩排)
truck 單說時也可以是大卡車
fastback 溜背車，介于Coupe/sedan和兩廂車之間，車頂與車尾上沿連成一條線，比較典型的是福特是野馬
現(xiàn)在又開始流行4門coupe，如奔馳CLS、帕薩特CC，美國人認(rèn)為這也算四門溜背車

When it comes to cars, different people have different views. Some people think cars have a lot of advantages.In the first place, driving a car saves time. because competition is very fierce in this society ,time equals money . Secondly, people can go shopping o traveling at their spare time .
But ,others people suggest that cars are bad for society, such as: cars will increasing air pollution ,which will influence our life and production .Meanwhile ,cars will make the energy crisis worsen. In addition ,with the number of cars growing, plenty of new drivers don’t abide by traffic regulation , which leads to traffic accidents .
In my opinion ,we should drive our cars when our work is very busy . Meanwhile, we should reduce driving the car when short distance or having a lot of time. We should properly use modern traffic facility, only then our life will colourful.
大家對私家車的觀點是見仁見智，有人認(rèn)為私家車好處多多。首先，自己開車能節(jié)約時間。現(xiàn)代都市競爭激勵，時間就是金錢。第二，有了私家車，人們空閑時間就可以開車去購物或自駕游。
但是，有人認(rèn)為擁有私家車壞處多多，例如，私家車過多會加重空氣污染，進而影響我們的生活生產(chǎn)。同時，私家車過多會加快能源危機的進程。此外，隨著私家車數(shù)量的增長，大量的不會遵守交通規(guī)則的菜鳥司機上路，成為馬路殺手，必然會導(dǎo)致更多的交通事故的發(fā)生。
我認(rèn)為，只有在我們工作需要的時候才應(yīng)該擁有私家車，而且當(dāng)路程較近或者不趕時間的時候，有車一族盡量不要開車上路。只有我們都合理搭乘現(xiàn)代交通工具，我們的生活才會變得更多姿多彩。
