　　Food Safety in China

　　With the growing awareness of healthy eating,more and more people now are paying more attention to the importance of healthy diet and an active life. But at the same time,a growing unrest over food safety in the China has caught everyone’s concern.

　　When it es to the food safety incidents,especially 20xx Chinese milk scandal,every consumer has much anger to pour upon them. In September 20xx,a fresh outbreak of kidney disease occurred,due to baby formula contaminated by melamine. Three babies died and over 6,000 were made sick by the tainted formula. The supplier of the milk,Sanlu Group,is a name brand and is a major player in the industry in China. The pany is said to have known of the problem for months,but claims the contaminant came from milk suppliers.

　　Who should be main responsible for these serious incidents like milk scandal? On one hand,plex China’s food regulations should shoulder part duties. We should realized its monitoring system can be unresponsive,and the government departments that oversee and enforce policies have overlapping and often ambiguous duties. On the other,food producers and suppliers lack deserved responsibility for consumers! What they cares is only their own interest and profit maximization.

　　In my opinion,everyone involved in it should set up a high responsibility for others,law related should be passed and carried out. Only in this way can we e by a healthy eating and a harmonious world.

　　Over the past couple of years,several cases of the food scandal have been disclosed on various media. The problem of food security has bee a hot button across society. The prevalence of food insecurity has greatly impacted public health,which the government could not afford to ignore,according to the online edition of the People Daily. -

　　在過(guò)去的幾年中,幾起食品丑聞案件已經(jīng)在各種媒體上披露.全社會(huì)的食品安全問(wèn)題已經(jīng)成為一個(gè)熱題.食品不安全的盛行已經(jīng)大大影響了群眾的健康,根據(jù)人民日?qǐng)?bào)網(wǎng)絡(luò)版,政府不應(yīng)當(dāng)忽視這一問(wèn)題.

　　There are a couple of driving forces,I would argue,behind this undesirable tide. First,in the course of the rapid economic evolution,we ignore moral education,giving rise to the rising rate of the problem. More importantly,the lack of adequate regulation and punishment on those illegal producers enforces the trend. -

　　我認(rèn)為這一不良行為的背后有很多驅(qū)動(dòng)力.首先,在快速的經(jīng)濟(jì)進(jìn)化過(guò)程中,我們忽視了道德教育,從而導(dǎo)致了這一問(wèn)題不斷上升.更重要的是,缺乏足夠的對(duì)那些非法生產(chǎn)者的'監(jiān)管和處罰加強(qiáng)了這一局面.

　　As Confucius instructed,it is better late than never. Prompt and strict measures should be taken to turn back this evil trend. The government should launch a massive moral campaign to educate all citizens and draw up tougher laws to crack down on those irresponsible corporations and prohibit them from entering the food industry again. I am firmly convinced that through our bined efforts we are bound to enjoy more risk-free foods in the days ahead.-

　　正如孔子教導(dǎo)的,遲到總比不到好.我們應(yīng)當(dāng)采取及時(shí)嚴(yán)厲的措施來(lái)扭轉(zhuǎn)這一不好的局面.政府應(yīng)當(dāng)發(fā)起很多的道德運(yùn)動(dòng)以教育所有的市民,并制定更嚴(yán)厲的法律打擊那些不負(fù)職責(zé)的企業(yè),并禁止他們?cè)俅芜M(jìn)入食品行業(yè).我堅(jiān)信,經(jīng)過(guò)我們的共同努力,我們必須會(huì)在未來(lái)的日子中享受更多的無(wú)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)食品.
