Grabbing red envelopes on line attracted thousands of people to join in by its fast, brand-new, and thrilling way to entertain. Sadly, what young people who traveled a long distance to go back home did during the Festival was not to communicate with the elders but to hold their cellphones all day long , just in order to grab red envelopes and get some money. In this case, we can say missing is better than seeing.

　　But, the custom of grabbing red envelopes which represents a good wish to the young has lost its real meaning. That is to say, what really matters is the relationship instead of the money.Essentially speaking, this phenomenon of grabbing red envelopes on line resulted from the heat love between money and the Internet. It’s the carnival of materialism, and nobody won except the Internet.
