高二英語優秀作文

　　1.My Father

　　Father was my first teacher and is my dear friend. When I was a little girl, I used to sit on my father's knees, listening to his stories. The story"Two friends and a Bear"told me"a friend in need is a friend indeed."I will never forget the story"Madame Curie"which tells me a truth"where there is a will,there is a way."Father's stories enriched my life and did a lot of good to my growth.

　　When I was seven years old,I started primary school.I was young,so my father picked me up from school every day.On the way,I told father everything that happened at school.Father listened carefully and always smiled happily. Sometimes I sang a beautiful song. My sweet and lovely voice gave my father the greatest pride.My father is always proud of me. He hopes I will make great progrein my study. Now I have made up my mind to study harder and harder.

　　I'm sure my father's love will lead me to my succeand I will love him forever!

　　2.sports

　　Nowadays,high school students hold different opinions about after-claactivities.there are two quite different phenomenonena.

　　Some students are crazy about sports and some other activities.they spend much time in joining the outdoor activities and varies of groups , and also,ma-ki-ng new friends.However,they pay a little attention to their studies.

　　On the contrary, some students spend almost of their time in studies and don't enjoy attending other activities.

　　In my opinion,I think neither of them is correct.I think we should study hard,but we also need time to relax ourselves,because if a one in a good state,he can do better.

　　3.孿生姐妹

　　twins are supposed to be alike, are they not? well, the twin sisters, lanlan and miaomiao do look alike. some of the time when they are both dressed up, which is not often, or when they go to the beach, which is not really often either, people recognize the likeneof their features. however, they like very different styles of clothes. lanlan prefer informal clothes, but miaomiao dresses like a model, always wearing the latest fashions.

　　They have very similar temperaments in most ways. lanlan does not get angry easily, enjoys being around people of her own age, finds young children a little irritating, and would rather spend time at a party than in a library. in these respects miaomiao feels the same. but miaomiao likes loud music and modern dances, while lanlan finds that nightclubs give her a headache. miaomiao is always with friends, and is a favorite with all the teachers, whereas lanlan prefers to be alone at times, and does not really try to impreher teachers.

　　They have tried to live in the same room several times, and even agreed on the color they liked best and the kind of furniture they wanted. but lanlan likes to keep things neat and tidy, while miaomiao acts as if there were a servant around to pick up all the things that get thrown on the floor or over the edge of the chair or into the bathtub. lanlan likes to go to bed early and get up early. in contrast miaomiao does not seem to have any definite habits, often goes to bed very late, and then wants to sleep late the next day when lanlan wants to get the day started.
