Oblivious to the impending danger, the mice frolicked and played within the fields. Approaching quietly, Sun Wukong traced a circle on the ground with his paw. Then, reverting to his original form, he stood at the center of the circle and proclaimed loudly, "I am the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Sun Wukong. Today, I shall help the villagers catch you mischievous mice!"
At these words, the mice panicked and tried to flee in all directions, only to find themselves mysteriously repelled back into the circle. The circle Sun Wukong had drawn was imbued with magical power, rendering escape impossible for the mice.
