Good afternoon!Everyone! My name is XX. Today I want to share my happiness with all of you.I’d like to introduce my good friend——Lucky!
Last year, my father bought a gift for me. It’s a lovely pet! Her name is Lucky. At first, I don't like it very much. But now, we are good friends. She likes carrots and vegetables. She can un and jump.
Can you guess what it is? A cat? A dog? A rabbit? Yes! It’s a rabbit. Lucky always wear a white coat., she has two red eys and long ears. She is quiet small she’s very friendly to everyone.
We never pull her tail or ears. She likes running and jumping around me and playing wiyh me.
If Lucky is hungry, she would walk here and there. Carrots are her favorite food, milk is also a good choice. She likes walking after meal or playing with her neighbor——a cat. Lucky doesn’t like dogs and she hates the rain. If it’s rainy, she stays at home and watches TV.
When she is tired, she sleeps anywhere! On any table, any chair, or in a basket. She sleeps next to the window, in the open drawer, in the shoe, on the grass, between the flowers, under he tree, or on my dress. Lucky doesn’t care! However, she isn’t lazy. She likes taking bath.
I feed lucky every day and give her clean water. Every Sunday, I brush her fur, she enjoys it very much.
Lucky is a good friend. She never worries because we take good care of her. She is always a happy rabbit.
This is my best friend——Lucky.
I like my rabbit. Do you like her?

Good morning, honorable judges, teachers and classmates: Look! What bright sunshine outside the window! Do you know why? Because I have a speech today! I am happy and excited to stand here. I love English. Three years ago, English grows like a seed in my heart. The seed slowly takes root, sprouts and grows with good care of my teacher. It is the enthusiasm and persistence of the teacher that make me full of power and motivate my interest in English. On the way to learn I will never give up whatever the great difficulties I meet. With my ambition, courage and determination, I am able to speak here. Maybe I am not the best, but I am the hardest. In my heart there is a sentence :Life, only the dream cannot fail!
Honorable judges, will you choose a girl like this? Please give me a chance and I will return you a brilliant one. Please remember my name. I am 。。。. Thank you!

【小學英語故事演講稿(一)】
she kindled a third match. again shot up the flame; and now she was sitting under a most beautiful christmas tree ,far larger, and far more prettily decked out, than the one she had seen last christmas eve through the glass doors of the rich merchant's house. hundreds of wax-tapers lighted up the green branches, and tiny painted figures, such as she had seen in the shop-windows, looked down from the tree upon her. the child stretched out her hands towards them in delight, and in that moment the lights of the match warm quenched; still, however, the christmas candles burned higher and higher, she beheld them beaming like stars in heaven; one of them fell, the lights streaming behind it like a long, fiery tail.
“now some one is dying,” said the little girl, softly, for she had been told by her old grandmother, the only person who had ever been kind to her, and who was now dead that whenever a star falls an immortal spirit returns to the god who gave it.
she struck yet another match against the wall; it flamed up, and surrounded by its light, appeared before her that same dear grandmother, gentle and loving as always, but bright and happy as she had never looked during her lifetime.

then fred began crying.
the teacher looked at him and said,” why are you crying, fred?”
“because his name’s lan may, and mine’s frederick hollingsworth,” fred said.

buying a hat
a lady went to a hat shop to buy a hat. as she was very fussy, it took her a long time to pick on one. already at the end of his patience the salesman was afraid that she might change her mind again so he tried to flatter her: "an excellent choice, madam. you look at least ten years younger with this hat on!" to his dismay, the lady took off her hat at once and said: "i don't want a hat that makes me look ten years older as soon as i take it off. show me some more hats!"
not long after an old chinese woman came back to china from her visit to her daughter in the states, she went to a city bank to deposit the us dollars her daughter gave her. at the bank counter, the clerk checked each note carefully to see if the money was real. it made the old lady out of patience.
at last she could not hold any more, uttering. "trust me, sir, and trust the money. they are real us dollars. they are directly from america."

i' ve opened the curtain of my east window here above the computer, and i sit now in a holy theater before a sky-blue stage. a little cloud above the neighbor s trees resembles jimmy durante s nose for a while, then becomes amorphous as it slips on north. other clouds follow, big and little and tiny on their march toward whereness. wisps of them lead or droop because there must always be leading and drooping.
the trees seem to laugh at the clouds while yet reaching for them with swaying branches. trees must think that they are real, rooted, somebody, and that perhaps the clouds are only tickled water which sometimes blocks their sun. but trees are clouds, too, of green leavesclouds that only move a little. trees grow and change and dissipate like their airborne cousins
