“創(chuàng)刊號”用英語怎么說

　　The official English-language journal of the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Gameslaunched its inaugural issue on Monday as the southern city headed into the last60 days before the opening of the Games。

　　本周一，在距離廣州亞運(yùn)會開幕倒計(jì)時60天之際，廣州2010年亞運(yùn)會的英文官方會刊創(chuàng)刊號正式發(fā)行。

　　在上面的報(bào)道中，inaugural issue就是“創(chuàng)刊號”。這里的issue指“(報(bào)刊、雜志的)一期，期號”，除這里提到的inauguralissue以外，還有為某一事件發(fā)布的special issue(特刊)。Inaugural在這里的意思是“首次的，創(chuàng)立的`”，例如：the inauguralrun of the new train(新型列車的首次行駛)。Inaugural還可以表示“開幕的，成立的”或“就職的，就任的”，例如： Thepresident gave an inaugural speech when he took office。(總統(tǒng)上任時發(fā)表就職演說。)

　　英文中有許多和“首次”有關(guān)的表達(dá)，如first-day cover(首日封)、maiden work(處女作)、initial publicoffering(首次公開發(fā)行股票)等等。
