Be a Truly Smart Consumer
Social and economic development today has not only brought us new kinds of goods and services, but also greatly changed the way we buy goods and services. As students mostly rely on their families, along with the increasing pressure of daily life, they are more careful with their money: they collect all kinds of coupons, look for group-buy deals for eating and travelling, and buy clothes only on sale. For most people, this seems to be a smart way of enjoying better life at less expense. For me, however, this may not make us become smart buyers.
今天社會(huì)和經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展不僅給我們帶來了新的商品和服務(wù)，同時(shí)也大大改變了我們購(gòu)買商品和服務(wù)的方式。作為主要依靠家庭的學(xué)生，隨著生活壓力越來越大，他們用錢需要更加謹(jǐn)慎了：他們收集各類優(yōu)惠券，組團(tuán)吃飯和旅游，只買打折的衣服。對(duì)大多數(shù)人來說，這似乎是一個(gè)聰明的享受更好生活的方式，因?yàn)檫@些消費(fèi)只需較少的費(fèi)用。對(duì)我來說，然而，這也不意味著我們是精明的消費(fèi)者。
I think such habits as buying with coupons or in the form of group-buy deals will easily result in overbuying and blind consumption. Buyers tend to think that coupons and group-buy deals give them a great advantage of saving money. It is praiseworthy that students choose to buy something they’re really in need of in such a way. But most of time, it is hard for them to refrain from being tempted to buy things offered at a tempting discount. The ultimate result is that they spend more money than they have planned before and harvest a heap of what they don’t really need.
我認(rèn)為這樣的習(xí)慣如購(gòu)買優(yōu)惠券或團(tuán)購(gòu)很容易導(dǎo)致不必要的盲目消費(fèi)。購(gòu)買者往往認(rèn)為優(yōu)惠券和團(tuán)購(gòu)能幫助他們省錢。值得贊許的.是，學(xué)生選擇去買東西，他們真的有這樣的需要。但是大多數(shù)情況，他們不想購(gòu)買一個(gè)誘人的折扣的東西是很難的。最終的結(jié)果是，他們的花費(fèi)超過了預(yù)算，買下了一堆他們根本不需要的東西。
All in all, we should buy things out of necessity and ration instead of impulse. Don’t be confounded with lust and greed when seeing much cheaper things. Look before you leap. Only in this way can we be a truly smart consumer.

Living in Campus or in a Rented Flat
For many collegians, they are tending to live in a rented flat when they are in university in order to have more personal space. This situation has attracted many people’s attention. Some people support the previous ideas for they are convincing that students are adults and they need privacy. Others hold that students shouldn't rent a flat because most collegians can’t support themselves economically. Well, for my opinion, I don’t think students should rent a flat when they are in college.
對(duì)于許多的大學(xué)生來說，他們更傾向于在大學(xué)期間在外面租房子住，為了能夠得到更多的私人空間。 這種現(xiàn)象引起了很多人的關(guān)注。一些人支持這些學(xué)生的做法，他們認(rèn)為大學(xué)生已經(jīng)成年，需要有自己的隱私。一些人認(rèn)為學(xué)生不應(yīng)該租房住，因?yàn)閷W(xué)生不能夠在經(jīng)濟(jì)上獨(dú)立。 在我看來，我也認(rèn)為學(xué)生在校期間不應(yīng)該在外面租房住。
Firstly, Living in dormitory is safer than living in a rented flat. Comparing to the other community, college is a relatively safe place because people are not so complex in college than people outside the college. So it is a better place for students to living on campus than stay in a rented flat.
首先，住在學(xué)校里比住在外面更安全。與其他的社區(qū)相比，大學(xué)里面的人往往不像外面的人那么復(fù)雜。因此，對(duì)于學(xué)生來說，住在學(xué)校比住在外面更好。
Secondly, stay in college can save money. As collegians, they don’t have jobs to support themselves, so they should try to save money and stay in dormitory instead of spending money on renting a flat.
其次，在學(xué)校住可以省錢。對(duì)于大學(xué)生來說，他們沒有工作，不能養(yǎng)活自己，所以，他們應(yīng)該住在學(xué)校，不應(yīng)該住在外面，以此來節(jié)省房租開支。
Thirdly, living on campus can save lots of time to study. Students living in college don’t have to run back and forth between college and a rented apartment. Therefore, they can have more time to study.
最后，住在學(xué)校里可以騰出更多的時(shí)間來學(xué)習(xí)。學(xué)生住在學(xué)校里，就不用老是在學(xué)校和公寓間來回跑。因此，他們能夠更多的時(shí)間來學(xué)習(xí)。
From the above reasons, we can conclude that living on campus would be a priority to students for the benefits of keeping themselves safe, saving a big amount of money and time.
鑒于以上的原因，學(xué)生應(yīng)該首先選擇住在學(xué)校，不僅能讓自己更加安全，而且也能節(jié)省很多的金錢和時(shí)間。
在家吃飯還是到外面吃飯英語(yǔ)作文
Eating Outside Or At Home
With the improvement of our life, many people choose to eat outside rather than to cook by themselves. However, some people think that this phenomenon is not so good because we can be affected with some kinds of disease. For me, I think it is good for people to eat at home for it is more economical to cook by ourselves.
隨著生活水平的提高，很多人都選擇到外面吃飯而不是在家自己做飯吃。但是，一些人認(rèn)為這種現(xiàn)象并不好，因?yàn)樵谕饷娉燥埧赡軙?huì)感染某種疾病。對(duì)于我來說，我認(rèn)為在家自己做飯會(huì)更節(jié)省一點(diǎn)兒。
First of all, cook by ourselves is more economical. Generally speaking, you have to spend more than 30yuan for each meal eating outside. But if you cook at home, you can just spend 10yuan per person for each meal.
首先，自己做飯吃更經(jīng)濟(jì)一點(diǎn)兒。在外面吃飯通常來說需要30元以上，但是如果自己在家煮飯的話，每個(gè)人每餐飯的花費(fèi)不會(huì)超過10元。
Secondly, it will be cleaner to eat at home than eating outside. No matter what kind of restaurant, the common case is that you will eat food that is cooked by hogwash oil which will do harm to our health.
其次，在家吃的食物比在外面吃更干凈。不管是什么類型的飯店，通常你都會(huì)吃到由地溝油做的食物，這些地溝油會(huì)損害我們的身體健康。
Thirdly, we can eat more healthy food with low calorie by cooking at home. Most food tends to contain high fat and calorie outside and the restaurants take little consideration to the food ingredient that contains less fat and calorie. On the contrary, if we cook at home, we will pay attention to our health condition and make food that contains less calories and fat.
最后，家里面做的食物會(huì)更健康，有更低的熱量。外面的食物通常會(huì)包含很多脂肪。飯店也不會(huì)考慮那些包含低脂肪，低熱量的食材。相反，如果我們?cè)诩易约鹤鲲垼覀儠?huì)關(guān)注自己的身體健康，會(huì)做一些包含低熱量，低脂肪的食物。
All in all, through the analysis above, it is obvious that we will benefit from eating at home. So, I think people should cook as often as possible in order to get a better health condition.
總之，通過以上的分析，很明顯可以看出自己做飯對(duì)我們更有好處。所以，我認(rèn)為人們應(yīng)該多做飯，這樣的話我們也會(huì)更健康。
