萬圣節(jié)小報資料：萬圣節(jié)吃糖的原因
萬圣節(jié)源自古代凱爾特民族(Celtic)的新年節(jié)慶，此時也是祭祀亡魂的時刻，在避免惡靈干擾的同時，也以食物祭拜祖靈和善靈以祈平安渡過嚴(yán)冬。當(dāng)晚小孩會穿上化妝服，戴上面具，挨家挨戶收集糖果。
萬圣節(jié)當(dāng)晚是一年里最“鬧鬼”的時候，當(dāng)天晚上的習(xí)俗便是孩子們提著南瓜燈，穿著各式各樣的仿妖魔鬼怪的服飾挨家挨戶的敲門并大喊：“Trick or Treat!”(意為不請客就搗亂)，主人家(可能同樣穿著恐怖服裝)便會派出一些糖果、朱古力或是小禮物;要是不給糖的話，小孩子們就會進(jìn)行各種惡作劇，比如把垃圾倒進(jìn)你的家里等等。
這是萬圣節(jié)的一個有趣內(nèi)容“Trickortreat”，這習(xí)俗始于公元九世紀(jì)的`歐洲基督教會。到底萬圣節(jié)為什么要吃糖呢?下面小編為您介紹。
那時的11月2日，被基督徒們稱為“ALLSOULSDAY”(萬靈之日)。在這一天，信徒們跋涉于僻壤鄉(xiāng)間，挨村挨戶乞討用面粉及葡萄干制成的“靈魂之餅”。據(jù)說捐贈糕餅的人家都相信教會僧人的祈禱，期待由此得到上帝的佑護(hù)，讓死去的親人早日進(jìn)入天堂。
這種挨家乞討的傳統(tǒng)傳至當(dāng)今竟演變成了孩子們提著南瓜燈籠挨家討糖吃的游戲。見面時，打扮成鬼精靈模樣的孩子們千篇一律地都要發(fā)出“不請吃就搗亂”的威脅，而主人自然不敢怠慢，連聲說“請吃!請吃!”同時把糖果放進(jìn)孩子們隨身攜帶的大口袋里。
