　　一位同學(xué)首先介紹自己說：Hello everyone，I’m from river north......

　　“什么？”來自哪里？全場師生都蒙了，這位同學(xué)到底來自哪里？大家都陷入了短暫的思考。哦，對，他來自河北！河北被翻譯成了river north，連英語老師也是頭一次見，今天學(xué)到一個(gè)新詞了！全場哄堂大笑！

　　這位同學(xué)剛介紹完，另外一位身材高大的同學(xué)站了起來，他首先介紹了自己叫什么名字，然后說：I’m from broad quiet。 broad quiet？嗯，中國應(yīng)該沒這個(gè)省，難道這位同學(xué)說的是我國的`某個(gè)市？廣安？對，四川省廣安市！不對，我來自遼寧省！全場又蒙了！broad quiet是遼寧啊，這真是長見識了。

　　接著另外一位同學(xué)也站了起來，身材不高，皮膚黝黑，“I am from lake construct！”，有了前面兩位同學(xué)的介紹，大家這回都有心理準(zhǔn)備了，lake的意思是湖、湖泊的意思，construct是建造、創(chuàng)立的意思，兩個(gè)放在一起意思是“湖泊建造”？這是哪個(gè)省呢？“湖建”，終于發(fā)現(xiàn)了，是福建！這個(gè)翻譯太有才了，跟福建當(dāng)?shù)乜谝艚Y(jié)合不錯(cuò)，一般人真猜不出來是什么意思！全場再次爆笑！

　　這就是中國式英語的魅力，我們就是這么韌性，哈哈！其他還有很多省份的翻譯：比如luck woods是吉林，mountain east是山東，upper sea是上海，fold river是浙江，inner guessing ancient是內(nèi)蒙古等等。

　　小地名也有很多，door head valley是北京市門頭溝，west double flag是北京西二旗，哈哈哈！

　　Hello everybody. My name is Stone. I come from Guangdong province in China. I am very happy to come here to study with you.

　　When I arrived at this school three days ago, I fell in love with it. It is so beautiful and exciting here, and everyone is kind to me, especially Kim. This class feels just like one big family to me.

　　I’m interested in sports, music and mountain climbing. I also enjoy playing soccer. I would love to play with you sometime.

　　I hope I can become your friend soon. Thank you very much.

　　Hi,everybody. Good to be here. Facing the audience, a thought occured to me. Mama has alway told me not to make a fool in public. But somehow I just couldn't follow what she said exactly.

　　Well some people always treat me as a crazy loon. For I'm never part of any crowd and have some dreams far-off look. I'd even crash into someone with my nose stuck in a book. Now I'm standing on the stage, giving a speech in English.

　　Circumstance being that I'm pretty nervous. Maybe some guy would just think that it'd embarass me as frightened speechless. Never mind. I'm always good for a laugh.
