It is the first time +that分句
在“It is/was/will be the first time+that分句”結構中，當主句動詞為is/will be時，that分句動詞一律用現在完成體，引導詞that可以省略。例如：
It is the first time I’ve been here.
Don’t forget, it’ll be the first time I’ve spoken in public.
當主句動詞為was時，that分句動詞通常用過去完成體。例如：
It was the first time she’d been at a summer school and she thoroughly enjoyed it.
近義詞辨析
fast, hasty, quick, rapid, speedy, swift
這組詞均含有“迅速的”，“快捷的”的意思。
fast
強調速度快，且保持不變；又指鐘表的時間超過準確的.時間。
We took a fast train to Beijing.我們坐快車來北京。
hasty
指匆忙、急促，涉及因此而引起的慌亂、疏漏。
Don’t arrive at hasty conclusions.別匆忙下結論。
quick
強調動作、行為發生得突然且持續時間短。指人時，暗示聰明、領悟快。
The tiger took a quick leap at the sheep.老虎猛地向羊撲去。
rapid
指就整個過程來講速度快，但并不一定指這一過程的速度始終均勻不變。
The growth of the economy has been rapid in recent years.近年來，經濟增長速度很快。
speedy
指人處理問題迅速或物體運轉速度快。
His accusations brought a speedy denial.他的指控馬上遭到了否認。
swift
與fast和quick同義，但帶有文學色彩。
Eagles are swift in flight.鷹飛得很快。
