II.Analysis of teaching material
本單元的話題是Sharing,本課設(shè)計(jì)的這篇課文是一個(gè)志愿者的一封家書,她在巴布亞新幾內(nèi)亞共和國的一個(gè)小山村教書。信中詳細(xì)地描述了她所在學(xué)校的情況和她去一個(gè)學(xué)生家做客的經(jīng)歷。通過這封信,學(xué)生可以了解巴布亞新幾內(nèi)亞共和國各部落的生活狀況和風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣,同時(shí)能夠更好地理解志愿者的工作,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生互助合作的精神和社會(huì)責(zé)任感。
Ⅲ.Analysis of students
1.學(xué)生經(jīng)過高中階段必修1~選修6的學(xué)習(xí),具備了一定的閱讀技能,如查找細(xì)節(jié)信息,抓住段落要點(diǎn)和全文大意等,在閱讀速度方面也有了較大的提高,這有助于學(xué)生較好地完成這個(gè)課時(shí)的課文閱讀。
2.這個(gè)單元的話題是分享、幫助與合作。對(duì)于高二的學(xué)生而言,他們的價(jià)值觀人生觀已經(jīng)基本形成,本課通過閱讀志愿者的家書,了解一些志愿者的工作,小組討論“如果你是志愿者你將做什么工作?為什么?”幫助學(xué)生認(rèn)識(shí)這個(gè)世界,理解互助合作的意義,即在幫助他人的過程中實(shí)現(xiàn)自己的人生價(jià)值。
3.學(xué)生在這節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí)過程中需要用到預(yù)習(xí)策略、搜集分析信息策略、歸納整理策略等。
Ⅳ.Design of Teaching Objectives
1.Knowledge objectives
(1)學(xué)生能夠正確讀寫及運(yùn)用本課出現(xiàn)的單詞。
(2)學(xué)生掌握本課詞組的意思并能在句子中熟練運(yùn)用。
2.Ability objective
(1)強(qiáng)化略讀、查讀等閱讀技能,訓(xùn)練通過尋找關(guān)鍵詞、主題句等方式更快速并準(zhǔn)確地確定文章的段落大意,理清文章的總體框架與脈絡(luò)的技能。
(2)增強(qiáng)閱讀理解能力;發(fā)展借助圖片、表格等非語言信息進(jìn)行語言輸出的能力。
3.Affective objectives
(1)幫助學(xué)生理解志愿者工作的意義,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在日常生活中幫助他人、扶貧救困的愛心。
(2)在小組合作互動(dòng)中,增強(qiáng)學(xué)生的團(tuán)隊(duì)合作精神與分享意識(shí)。

c. What do you mean by “sharing”?
(Ss read the meanings together.)
2. Show Ss the sign of volunteer, then talk about the meaning of the sign and “ volunteers”.
a. Do you know what the sign stands for?( T:A Hand? Ss: Help. T:A Heart? Ss: Love. T: A Dove? Ss: Peace. T: A Letter “Y”? Ss: Youth.)
b. What’s the meaning of “a volunteer”?
(The people who are helping others in the video are called volunteers. Volunteers are not paid which means they are not given money, not because they are not worthless but because they are priceless, but because they cannot be measured by money.)
c. What voluntary work can volunteers do? (Ss give their answers according to the pictures.)

Step II. Pre-reading
1. Look at the title and pictures and try to guess “What’s the author’s work?”

1. Skim and scan the text quickly and try to get its main idea.

2. How many paragraphs in the text? Divide it into 4 parts and match each part with its main idea.

[設(shè)計(jì)說明] 快速限時(shí)閱讀把閱讀課文作為整體來處理,掌握主旨大意,這一任務(wù)過程中為了降低難度設(shè)空完成學(xué)生比較容易接受。在對(duì)課文表層理解的基礎(chǔ)上,要求學(xué)生根據(jù)每段大意把文章進(jìn)行劃分部分。本環(huán)節(jié)難度不高,學(xué)生都能很好地完成任務(wù),不僅訓(xùn)練和提高了學(xué)生略讀、查讀的閱讀技能。而且,提高了學(xué)生閱讀的積極性。
Task 2 Detailed reading
1. After knowing the general idea of the text, lead the Ss the customs and lives of people in Tombe’s village. Listen to the text and pay attention to the pronunciation. Meanwhile, read after the listening and underline the detailed information in the text. (Ss listen to the text and read)

4. Summary: There are many people around us, in our country or even in the world who need different kinds of help. So voluntary work is an important and great cause. Not only can it make people live better but also it can bring happiness to volunteers. So we should form a sense of helping others and take an active part in any kind of voluntary activities from now on and try to make the world more beautiful and harmonious. Just stand up and show me your voluntary gestures, let’s sing together.
[設(shè)計(jì)說明] 本環(huán)節(jié)屬于讀后活動(dòng),首先處理課文中的典型的長難句,這也引出了本課的語法項(xiàng)目定語從句。小組討論“如果你是志愿者你將做什么工作?為什么?”使學(xué)生更好的了解了這個(gè)單元的主題,幫助他人、分享合作。教師可以進(jìn)一步了解學(xué)生對(duì)于志愿者工作和幫助他人的看法,有利于進(jìn)行德育教育,幫助學(xué)生樹立正確的價(jià)值觀。最后大家共同舉起志愿者手勢(shì),齊唱英文歌曲 Tomorrow Will Be Better, 將課堂活動(dòng)推向高潮,激發(fā)了他們幫助他人、扶貧就困的熱情,達(dá)到了本課情感價(jià)值教育的目標(biāo)。

教學(xué)反思
經(jīng)過教學(xué)實(shí)踐,我體會(huì)到要精心設(shè)計(jì)一堂閱讀課,教師要在課前必須花大量的時(shí)間和精力對(duì)課的類型、主題、結(jié)構(gòu)等諸因素作充分的考慮和研究。這堂課基本做到了把課堂讓給學(xué)生,讓學(xué)生在自主、合作、探究的氣氛中愉快度過,既順利完成教學(xué)任務(wù),又促進(jìn)其情感教育。教學(xué)中融入了素質(zhì)教育,且使學(xué)生在趣味中學(xué)得了知識(shí),這也是目前提倡的教育教學(xué)理念。
我感到多媒體教學(xué)用于英語閱讀教學(xué)有很多好處:首先,課堂的導(dǎo)入是十分重要的,好的導(dǎo)入可以激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,直觀、生動(dòng)的圖片、動(dòng)畫使得學(xué)生更容易進(jìn)入學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài),把學(xué)生從枯燥的課堂解放 ,有利于師生的互動(dòng), 能更好地實(shí)現(xiàn)教師的教學(xué)意圖。其次,多媒體課的容量大,教師可以把原來花在板書的時(shí)間用于指導(dǎo)學(xué)生,或設(shè)計(jì)一些多樣的題型。再者,通過聽錄音,朗讀課文,配以在幻燈片呈現(xiàn)問題,讓學(xué)生有目的性帶著問題去聽課文,朗讀課文,一部分一部分的分析課文,解決問題。在此過程中,不同的任務(wù)設(shè)置激發(fā)了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣和用英語表達(dá)的欲望。
教學(xué)內(nèi)容設(shè)計(jì)要符合本班學(xué)生的實(shí)際情況,難度適中,盡量滿足不同類型和不同層次學(xué)生的要求。在任務(wù)的設(shè)置中應(yīng)充分考慮學(xué)生是否能夠完成。本堂課的細(xì)節(jié)理解部分難度合適,大多數(shù)學(xué)生都能順利完成。
我認(rèn)為在教學(xué)中只有師生處于平等地位,學(xué)生的主體性才能得到發(fā)揮;只有使課堂交際化,師生才能融合在智力與情感的交際過程中,多給學(xué)生展示的機(jī)會(huì)才能激起學(xué)生積極求知的學(xué)習(xí)欲望。
