　　High schools, including compulsory courses such as mathematics and science, are normally considered as places which can improve the employability and career’s prospects, while art classes are provided as optional courses. Nevertheless, considering the importance of art classes, some people think that it should be included in the compulsory subjects. From my perspective, I think that the arts and moral education can be optional courses and students need to focus more on the academic subjects.

　　It is widely believed that art classes have a positive effect on the development of children, since art classes can stimulate children’s imagination and encourage them to approach problems creatively. Therefore, although the arts are not among core subjects at school, it deserves a place in the curriculum, for these subjects add spice to life. However, individual students have different characters and abilities, especially for those high school students. If they are always required to take the same course, their potential is less likely to be fully achieved. Hence, it is not always productive to design a compulsory subject.

　　In addition, many parents and teachers nowadays give priority to core subjects, as these courses decide whether students can get into prestigious universities. As a result, they can find decent jobs to live a rewarding life. Nevertheless, apart from academic knowledge, schools should also teach students how to distinguish right and wrong. Moral education can raise students’ awareness of some important virtues, such as honesty, integrity. If schools do not teacher moral values, although they have good command of skills, they may end up using knowledge for morally wrong purposes. As a consequence, they are less likely to be successful.

　　In conclusion, academic subjects, the compulsory courses can improve the employability of the students, while art classes can be designed as one of the optional courses for the students. What’s more, considering the importance of moral education to personal achievement, it could be listed as the compulsory course.

　　The given 13 illustrators depict a consecutive process of producing smoked fish from the supply of fish to the customer end. The whole processing can be divided into three major stages: the process of catching fish, smoking fish, and packaging.

　　First of all, the production of smoked fish relies on factory fish from the sea. Right after the fish is shipped to the port, all the fish should be frozen in icebox instantly for the sake of keeping fresh. Also, freezing also can help to retain fish in intact condition in the course of transferring to next stage.

　　When frozen fish is shipped to plants for smoking process, they should be thawed before they are washed in fresh water, which is a necessary step in order to flush all dirt away from the fish. The cleansed fish is to be cut open once they are washed, and the cut fish needs to be dipped in salt water. Subsequently, the fish will be smoked in rows inside a container.

　　After the fish is smoked for some period of time, they will be frozen again. The second freezing step is a step prior to cold storage, either be in a warehouse or in a store. The whole process ends when smoked fish is delivered to various distributor shops.
