實用口語：英文“心”意知多少
很多國家的語言都有大批圍繞“心”而形成的俗語。漢語中有關“心”的成語和習語數不勝數，英語也不例外。下面是一些常用的短語：

地道表達：fall flat：摔得結結實實，落得無趣
釋義：
fall的意思是“落下”，在改習語中轉移為“跌倒，摔倒”，副詞flat有“平”的意思。從字面上看，改習語有“平平地摔下”的意思，引申為漢語中說的“摔得結結實實”，并進而轉義為“落得無趣”。它主要用來指某人的故事，笑話或表演沒有得到預期的效果。
范例：
If they won'tcooperate, our plan will fall flat.
如果他們不肯合作我們的計劃就會落空。
Yes, it's really embarrassing when your ideas fall flat.
對呀，沒人理會你的主意時真糗。
The trouble is that if you do not follow the local rules, the experience may fall flat.

實用口語:英語里“復習”就是“刷干凈”？

brushup：復習，溫習
解詞釋義：
brush是動詞，意思是“把......刷干凈”。Brushup本義是“打扮整潔”，引申為“重新學習過去的技能”，即“溫習，復習”。
支持范例：
If you're going to Mexico, you shouldbrushup on your Spanish.
如果你要去墨西哥，你應該復習你的`西班牙文。
I shall have tobrushup my mathematics before I take on that job.

1.she's a natural crier.

natural 天生的;本能的;與生俱來的
如：Remember that these weaknesses are natural.

2. He's really a law-down dirty shame.
他真是個不知羞恥的家伙。
law-down dirty shame“不知羞恥的”
如： I wouldn't like to have anything to do with a law-down dirty shame like her.

3.He's good-time charlie, feeling no worries and anxieties.
他可是個樂天派，整天無憂無慮的。
good-time charlie 漢語中“樂天派”可以用optimistic來表示，也可以用good-humored。但是上述表達法缺乏口語色彩，而用good-time Charlie比較合適。
4.She's said to be a jinx.
有人說她是掃帚星。
jinx 通常指不吉利的人或物。其實“掃帚星”指的是“彗星”。在英語中沒有對應的比喻義的翻譯，不能譯為“comet”，應該是jinx。
例如：I've heard of her. She's said to be a jinx, who would bring bad luck to whoever she marries.
我聽說過她，有人說她是個掃帚星，誰跟她結婚都會倒霉。
5.Lucas has a lot on the ball.
Lucas很能干。
on the ball 有能力的或有效率的：
a manager who has a lot on the ball;a student who has nothing on the ball.

6. He's really a party animal.
他真的是個聚會狂。
party animal指的是特別喜歡參加聚會的人，也就是聚會狂，他們哪怕一次聚會也不會落下。要注意，這里animal說的可是人哦，并不是把人貶低成了動物。
如：I'd love to invite that party animal to the party. He'd liven up the mood!
我很喜歡邀請那個派對狂來參加我們的派對。他能使整個氣氛熱烈起來。
7.You're still wet behind the ears.
你還嫩點兒。
Wet behind the ears如果直譯: 耳朵背后是潮的。它可能來自這樣的說法: 小馬、小牛剛生下來的時候全身濕漉漉的;別的地方很快會干，但是耳朵背后卻還是濕的。所以說某人耳朵背后是潮的，是把這人比作剛生下不久的嬰兒了。換句話說就是他簡直像新生兒一般幼稚無知。
如：He was too wet behind the ears to bear such responsibilities.

8.That boy never says uncle.

a black sheep“敗家子”此短語源于諺語 There is a black sheep in every flock.(每群羊里都有一只黑綿羊)

釋義：
