As we tap away for extended periods of texting, browsing and tweeting, we could be putting ourselves at risk of getting text neck.

A newly coined condition – text neck – reveals that slumping over your mobile phone, tablets or other hand-held device for hours on end heaps so much pressure on your spine, that we're giving ourselves long-lasting back problems.
“短信脖”是個新造的詞，指一個人連續幾小時低頭看手機、平板電腦等手持設備，導致施加給脊椎的壓力不斷累積，最終給背部造成永久性傷害。
The root of the problem appears to be our heads which, weighing in at 4–5 kilos, are harder to support when we bend over – a little like carrying a weight at arm's length rather than closer to the body.

Standing just 15cm away, these hackers use RFID and NFC wireless communication to harvest bank details in a practice known as "digital skimming". The readers can be brought online or downloaded to phone via an app. A $300 machine can then replicate the card so it can be used elsewhere.

It is estimated 70% cards will soon be vulnerable to digital pick pocketing.
