2016托福口語task5范文詳細解析
Task5之所以稱之為綜合口語,因為在其中,除了要說的部分以外,考生還要注意聽力的內(nèi)容。這也是整個綜合口語部分中只有聽力內(nèi)容和說的內(nèi)容的考試部分。說白了這里就是要將你聽到的聽力內(nèi)容用自己的語言復述出來。
這里介紹的托福綜合口語Task5答題模板+范文解析是通過TPO17的Task5為例來為大家講解的:
問題:
The speakers discuss two possible solutions to the man’s problem. Briefly summarize the problem, then state which solution you recommend and explain why.
Preparation Time: 20 seconds
Recording Time: 60 seconds
答題模板:
In the conversation, the student/tutor is facing a problem that __❶__.
There are two solutions. She could choose either __❷__ or __❸__.
As for me, I prefer the former/ latter because of two reasons.
The first reason is __❹__.
The second reason is __❺__.
In conclusion, based on these two reasons I think the first/ second solution is better.
答題模板解釋:
聽力對話一開始,男生或者女生會交代自己遇到的問題,一般場景敘述在15-30s之間不等,在這過程中考生需要掌握提煉核心信息的能力,盡量用1-2句話去概括❶中男生或女生遇到的問題。
❷和❸代表解決問題的兩個建議方案,考生必須明確說明怎么“做”才能解決問題。因此,建議在此處用動詞不定式to do或者he/she can do的形式復述具體方案。
聽力對話中,通常每個方案之后都會出現(xiàn)各自的優(yōu)點或缺點。但由于答題時間有限,考生應對優(yōu)缺點進行關鍵詞概括或省略不說,把時間留給personal opinion部分,千萬不可把大部分的時間放在復述聽力中問題和解決方案的優(yōu)缺點上。
❹和❺處考生可根據(jù)個人的經(jīng)歷指出支持方案一或二的理由。通常,如果支持方案一,可以說說方案二的缺點,反之亦然。另外,比較常見的理由有,告訴對方實情,對方會理解的等。

M: Hey Sally, I just got the first draft of my research paper back from professor Stone.
F: ❶ Just now? I got mine back a few days ago.
M: ❷ Yeah, everyone else in the class that I know of got theirs back a few days ago too.
F: But, the deadline…you’re running out of time.
M: Yeah, I am worried. ❸ I only have one day to review all his comments and write my final draft. He made a lot of suggestions.
F: ❹ You should definitely ask Professor Stone for a deadline extension. He should take some responsibility for the situation; it is sort of his fault you won’t have much time to work on it before the due date.
M: ❺ I thought about that, but would he think I was being pushy, or…criticizing him for not getting the paper back to me right away? I don’t want to offend him.
F: True, but it’s your grade we’re talking about. You’ve got a legitimate concern, but it’s understandable if you’re uncomfortable asking.
M: Yeah…I’m in a tough spot.
F: ❻ You know you could always just do your best with the time you have left. You’re a good student, I bet you can finish it quickly; work really fast and it’ll still turn out good.
M: Do my best with the time I have left. Well…if I worked really hard, I imagine I might do ok, ❼ but I have to be sure to deal with all of those comments. I need a good grade.

❶ The man just got his first draft of paper from the professor and he has to review all the comments and write a final version. But there is only one day left. ❷ The woman offers him two possible suggestions. The first suggestion is to ask the professor for a deadline extension. ❸ Because all the other students got their paper a few days ago and only the man got his paper just now, so the professor should take some responsibility for this situation. ❹ Nonetheless, the man does not want to seem pushy and offensive. The second possible solution is to do his best with the time left. He can finish the paper quickly and work hard. Since he is a pretty good student, he can get a pretty good grade. But there are too many comments to deal with. If I were the man, I would choose the first solution. ❺ Owing to professor’s fault, even if it‘ll be a little uncomfortable asking the extension, it is still reasonable to do so. ❻ In addition, there is no need to worry about being offensive. The man just need to tell the problem to the professor in the first place.

General Description (總體陳述印象):
考生的發(fā)音較好,咬字清楚,回答中邏輯很有連貫性,語匯表達多樣,句式豐富,信息完整。
Topic Development (話題發(fā)展): 學生對于聽力的內(nèi)容掌握的很到位。對于男生遇到的問題敘述為… But there is only one day left。對于兩個方案和各自的缺陷的表述分別為ask the professor for a deadline extension,the man does not want to seem pushy and offensive;to do his best with the time left,But there are too many comments to deal with。并且自己也發(fā)表了看法,選擇第一種方法,并且對支持的觀點進行了兩方面的陳述,因此,對于話題問題,解決方案及其缺陷,自己的觀點這幾方面的考點陳述得十分準確。
Language Use (語言運用): ❶中此處用but既交代了背景,也很好地引出學生的問題。❷用The woman offers …,The first suggestion is …, The second possible solution is…有條理地進行了兩個方面的闡述。❸用because引導原因更能起到強調(diào)作用,因為某事所以教師必須承擔責任,更具有說服力. ❹轉(zhuǎn)折常用詞but在上下文避免重復使用可以用此處的nonetheless進行替換,但需注意分清轉(zhuǎn)折程度。❺owing to一方面可以替換表原因的用詞,在口語中靈活運用,另一方面也是再次強調(diào)說明教授的失誤造成了不理想的情況。❻在給出理由的表述中使用in addition或furthermore來展開補充說明,使上下文表述更加充分.
Delivery (語言表達): 此學生的回答連貫性和語言的流暢性較好,很多詞組的發(fā)音均有很好的發(fā)音習慣,如略讀need to ,good student等;連讀review all ,worry about等;卷舌first,gets angry ,Nonetheless等。回答中,考生的語速均等,并且句與句、詞與詞之間有明顯停頓,讓考官聽得很清楚。
