A friend of mine was fond of drawing horse. He drew the horses very well,but he always began the tail. Now it is the Western rule to begin at the head of the horse, that is why I was surprised. It struck me that it could not really make any difference whether the artist begins at the head or the tail or the belly(肚子) or the foot of the horse, if he really knows his business. And most great artists who really know their business do not follow other people’s rule.They make their own rules. Every one of them does his work in a way peculiar(奇特的) to himself; and the peculiarity means only that he finds it more easy to work in that way.
Now the very same thing is true to literature(文學). And the question, "How shall I begin?" only means that you want to begin at the head instead of beginning at the tail or somewhere else. That is, you are not yet experienced(有經驗的) enough to trust to your own powers. When you become more experienced you will
never ask the question, and I think that you will often begin at the tail --that is to say, you will write the end of the story before you have even thought of the beginning.

一、到達考場時間和攜帶物品的規定
考生應按照準考證上規定的具體時間，在考試開始前30分鐘抵達考場。考生須按本須知“身份證件規定”的要求攜帶身份證件、準考證、鉛筆、水筆、橡皮;允許考生攜帶一瓶透明的塑料瓶裝白水;禁止攜帶和使用涂改液和涂改帶;禁止攜帶手機等任何電子器件，如發現按為違規處理。考試開始前及考試期間將對每個考生身份證件進行核驗。考場桌面上禁止擺放除鉛筆、橡皮、準考證、身份證件和塑料瓶裝白水之外的任何物品(紙張、印刷品、食品飲料等)。
二、考生違規行為

在考場使用非考試許可的各種答題輔助材料和器件。
在考場攜帶有字符的紙條或在身體部位寫有字符。
變造、偽造身份證件替他人考試。
任何擾亂、妨礙考試正常秩序的行為。
在考試后以任何方式和途徑向他人透露部分或全部考試題或試題概要。
三、違規行為的處罰
對于發生上述違規行為的考生，劍橋大學外語考試部和教育部考試中心有權采取下列一種或多種處罰措施：
勒令離開考場。
扣留考試成績，進一步調查。
取消本次考試成績;并在相關政府機構、企業、學校、團體查詢時告知。
對于受上述處罰的考生，不退還考費或改期安排考試，一切后果責任自負。
四、答題數據異常情況的處理
劍橋大學外語考試部在閱卷時，如發現：
答題數據異常并判定有違規行為的，將不出具成績，不退還考費
