「生活口語」我可能考砸了
對于學生來說，考試真的是一件非常痛苦的事情。也許有的時候幸運之神沒有關注你，你挑燈夜讀好幾天還是考砸了。
Brooke: how was school today, Dominic?
Dominic: I hate school!
B: why? What happened?
D: I messed up my mid-term exam so badly today!
B: it's just one exam. Can you re-take the exam?
D: yes, but it's so humiliating! I don't want my friends to know I failed!
B: why didn't you do a good job?
D: I don't know. I sat down in my seat, looked at my paper, and then my mind just went totally blank.
B: do you think you studied enough for the exam?
D: no...
B: what did you do last night?
D: I watched TV.
B: did you study at all last night for your exam?
D: no, not really.
B: I am sure if you had studied, you would have done well. When can you re-take your exam?
D: tomorrow.
B: alright. Get out your books and I'll help you prepare.
