第一節(jié)
1、 She soon called my attention to the fact that she couldn’t work full time and keep house, too.注意的詞語：call attention to(喚起注意)、keep house(當(dāng)家)
2、 I guess I just took it for granted that a wife was supposed to take care of her kids and husband.注意的詞語：take it for granted(視為當(dāng)然)、be supposed to(應(yīng)該、被期望)

翻譯為：一般so……that是如此……以至于……的意思，這里上下句不是因果關(guān)系: 變得糟糕的是，他既沒有辭職也沒有被解雇。后半句that he either quit or got fired是so bad的補(bǔ)充狀語從句，補(bǔ)充說明so bad的細(xì)節(jié)，不要太拘泥語法結(jié)構(gòu)，更應(yīng)該注重的是：1.英語語序特征，2.英語國家的人的邏輯思維特征。
