　　Free Speech on the Internet

　　With the popularization of the Internet, it has become a common phenomenon that people express their ideas freely on the Internet. However, there are different voices on whether free speech should be advocated on the Internet.

　　Some people agree that everyone should be allowed to share his or her ideas freely on the Internet. They say that since we live in a democratic country, we all have the right to free speech.

　　However, other people argue that restrictions should be imposed on the expressions on the Internet, for there have been many remarks that spread false information and messages of violence, which has a bad influence on teenagers.

　　In my opinion, people should be endowed with the right to speak freely on the Internet as long as we improve our moral consciousness. Internet is a good medium for us to share our opinions, but we should not transmit illegal or harmful information. Everyone has the duty to keep our network clean, then we'll be able to enjoy the convenience the Internet has brought us.

　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay based on the picture below. You should start your essay with a brief description of the picture and then give your comments. Write your essay on Answer Sheet 1. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

　　Nowadays, with people's living standard improving, more and more people choose to go travelling. Some prefer arranged tours while others like self-help traveling more.

　　The reason why people choose to go self-help traveling may lie in that they can save a lot of money by booking cheaper hotels and taking cheaper transportation means. Perhaps another reason is that they prefer the freedom self-help traveling possesses compared with many constraints the arranged tour includes. However, self-help traveling still has some potential problems. The most noticeable one is the safety hazard. Being alone without a group or a tour guide, a traveler may be helpless in face of such dangers as robbery, wild animal attacks and so on. In addition, they are more likely to be at risk of getting lost when traveling alone in a strange city or in the remote countryside.

　　As far as I am concerned, self-help traveling can be exciting and challenging which is worth trying. However, before setting out alone on a tour, travelers should make good preparations. Besides, they should bear security in mind all the time and keep in touch with their friends or relatives at any time. Only by doing so can they enjoy the pleasure brought by exploring a strange city safe and sound.
