　　一天，我在詞典上查到牛的解釋是：“哺乳動物，吃草，可以耕地，肉質鮮美，皮、毛、角、骨都有用處。”我非常不能理解為什么要說“肉質鮮美，皮、毛、角、骨都有用處。”查羊也有類似字眼，我十分驚訝，媽媽說國外的字典上不會有這類字眼，國外人很注重保護動物，他們從來不會吃鴿子的，而鴿子在中國卻是一道美味的菜肴。我想：這和中國人保護動物的意識比較薄弱有關。我聽爸爸說過，他很小的時候，就看到很多人打鳥，以致現在的鳥兒越來越少了。還有人專門捕殺鯊魚，用它們做出美味的魚翅，這樣鯊魚也越來越少了，遲早有一天會像恐龍一樣滅絕。

　　我認為：我們人類不能為了自己的利益去殺害動物，要呼吁大家去保護動物，只有人類和動物和平相處，這個世界才會更美好!
