　　首先，在近些年的四級考試中，應用文考察幾率并不是最高的，2016年考過感謝信，今年則考了廣告。因此，從作文題材來講，考生在日后的備考過程中也要復習要全面，不能只將復習重點聚焦在圖畫作文或者一句話作文這種短文寫作上，還要同時關注應用文，而且應用文中的書信、通知、廣告、失物招領、備忘錄等都要復習。

　　其次，從考察內容上來講，題目日益貼近大學生的實際生活，重在考察學生的實際寫作水平，一些“假大空”的所謂模板句則越來越沒有用武之地，因此，考生要切實提高寫作水平，對于描寫、記敘、說明、議論、舉例等寫作手法都要掌握。尤其是描寫和記敘是廣大考生的薄弱環節而且市面上的模板大多也是針對議論文的。例如，本次考試當中就設計到描寫二手電腦和二手自行車的以及二手教材的情況。鑒于上述原因，平時加強英文寫作訓練就顯得尤為重要。
