The home of tea, which has more than 4000 years of history, is China. People throughout China drink tea daily. Tea from China, along with silk and porcelain, began to be known by the world over a thousand years ago and has been an important Chinese export since then.
中國(guó)是茶的故鄉(xiāng),有4000多年的歷史。中國(guó)人每天喝茶。在三大主要飲品---茶、咖啡和可可中,茶是世界上飲用人數(shù)最多的飲品。和絲綢、瓷器一樣,中國(guó)的茶葉在一千多年前就被世人所知,并且從那時(shí)起就一直是中國(guó)重要的出口產(chǎn)品。
The word for tea in different languages came from the Chinese character, “cha”. The English word, “tea”, sounds similar to the pronunciation of it in Xiamen, Fujian Province. The Russians call it “cha’i”, which sounds like “chaye” (tea leaves) as it is pronounced in northern China. The Japanese character for tea is written exactly the same as it is in Chinese, though it is pronounced a little differently.
不同語言中的茶這個(gè)詞都來自于漢字“茶”。英語單詞“tea”的發(fā)音和福建省廈門“茶”的發(fā)音聽起來相似。俄國(guó)人稱茶為“cha’i”,聽起來很像中國(guó)北方人發(fā)的“chaye”(茶葉)。雖然日本漢字“茶”和中國(guó)漢字“茶”在發(fā)音上有點(diǎn)不同,但在寫法上完全一樣。

Over the past centuries, Chinese people have developed their unique tea culture, including tea planting, tea-leaf picking, tea making and tea drinking. Tea is also a popular topic in dances, songs, poems and novels.
在過去的幾個(gè)世紀(jì),中國(guó)人就已經(jīng)發(fā)展了獨(dú)特的茶文化,包括種茶、摘茶、制茶和喝茶。茶在舞蹈、歌曲、詩歌和小說中也是一個(gè)廣受歡迎的話題。
