ssat考試的詞匯量
1.在高級SSAT中達到9000詞水平，在低級SSAT中達到7000詞水平.
2.SSAT/ISEE考試是美國、加拿大等國私立中學的敲門磚。SAT和ISEE是美國一些獨立的非盈利機構主辦的兩種全國性的.私立中學入學考試，由美國、加拿大等國私立學校自行選用。SSAT為Secondary School Admission Test的首字母縮寫，即為美國中學入學考試。ISEE是Independent School Entrance Exam的首字母縮寫，即為獨立學校入學考試。兩種考試雖然主要都是為了中學入學，但是，目前也在私立學校5、6年級的入學審核中廣泛使用。
ssat的詞匯必備技巧
(1)同義題：
MALICE
A.cunning B.spite C.benevolence D.forethought E.preface
同義題目給出一個選項要求在五個選項中選擇和題干關系最近的選項，先拋開同義題目做題技巧來看掌握大量詞匯量是王道。
(2)類比題目：
Finger is to hand
A.toe is to foot
B.petal is to flower
C.section is to book
D.wedge is to pie
E.singer is to band
類比題目考察選項當中兩個單詞的邏輯關系要和主干一致，比如主干是手和手指的關系那么選項中選擇腳和腳趾而不能選擇花和花瓣，因為要選擇和主干關系更對應的選項。可以看出類比題目中詞的數量要比同義題目的詞多出一倍。
那么通過初步識別SSAT兩種題型我們現在明白了，無論哪種題型都需要我們掌握大量的.詞匯量，即SSAT詞匯量要求是12000個單詞。但是大家務必注意會發現SSAT詞匯量雖大但是只考察了學員對單詞的識別能力，沒有要求掌握單詞的發音和拼寫。所以SSAT單詞的背誦一定要有別于以往單詞背誦方法，尤其是要短期內突破大量詞匯量的同學。
我們先來看這樣的一段話：
The subject is not letters of the alphabet but rather the parts of words themselves. You can actually increase your vocabulary and your test score by learning about the structure of words. This will help you figure out the meaning of unfamiliar words you come across in the verbal ability section of your exam。
