Dear Mr. Wang,

Nowadays there are a lot of false advertisements in society. They have caused many harms to society. Generally, their harms can be listed as follows.
現在，社會上有很多虛假廣告。他們給社會造成了許多危害。總的來說，他們的危害正如以下所列出的。
First, they exaggerate the functions of the goods they advertise and mislead consumers. Second , some advertisements contain obscene contents and bring about spiritual pollution. Third, they seriously damage the credit of businesses because the shops which sell those goods will be distrusted and even considered the conspirators of those advertisers by consumers.
首先,他們利用夸大了商品的功能，誤導消費者。第二,一些廣告包含淫穢內容給人們帶來精神污染。第三,他們嚴重損害了企業的信譽，因為通過消費者商店出售的這些貨物將不被信任，甚至被認為是那些廣告商的同謀者。
Personally, I am usually vigilant against any advertisements and so I have never been taken in. However, some people are credulous and are easily taken in. Therefore, in my opinion, effective measures must be taken to ban false advertisements and protect consumers' interests. First, all the advertisements must be strictly censored by the authorities concerned before they are published. Besides, severe punishment must be inflicted on those who publish illegal advertisements.

With the fast development of economy, various productsare full of our lives. However, taking a look around, no one will not noticethat most goods are decorated with many beautiful, attractive but excessivepackaging. This phenomenon should arouse people’s wide concerns.
隨著經濟的快速發展,各種產品商品充滿了我們的生活。然而,環顧四周,沒有人不會留意裝飾著許多美麗的大部分商品,但過度包裝的吸引力。這種現象應該引起人們的廣泛關注。
The phenomenon exists for a number of factors. For onething, the majority of people are tending to present the gifts which haveexcessive packaging to their bosses, friends or relatives in festivals. Most ofthem pay more attention to the appearance than the gift itself. For another, inview of people’s vanity, more and more merchants are inclining to put moreemphasis on the appearance than quality to adapt to consumers’ demand. Inaddition, the merchants can get higher profit by excessively packing. Therefore,the merchants take delight in excessive packaging.

What’s worse, excessive packaging causesthe waste of resources and serious environment pollution.

Every day when we turn on theTV-set, what appears into our eyes first is advertisement. Some people think that advertisements have many advantages, while I take no interests in them atall. On the contrary, they are a great nuisance in my mind.
當我們每天打開電視時第一眼看到的`就是廣告。有些人認為廣告有許多優點，但是我卻對他們毫無興趣。相反，他們是我心目中的一大公害。
There are two main disadvantages of advertisements. For one thing, advertisements often mislead us. Most sellers on advertisements boast that their products are superior to other ones in the markets. However, they are inferior in quality. When people fall for the tricks, they can do nothing but complain and regret because they can’t contact the sellers to get compensation after purchasing. For another, advertisements usually take up plenty of time on TV, so we can’t watch any TV programs in a happy mood. What is worse is that many interesting programs are segmented by a lot of boring advertisements, which makes us feel annoyed. But we have to stand.
