有一天，穿著海軍衫的小明拿著“銀光號”的航模飛機，穿著紅色衣服的小強拿著他的“紅獅號”飛機模型，他們湊到一起，小明說：“明天就要比賽了，我們先練習一下吧。”小強說：“對呀，我們找一個地方練習一下吧。”
One day, Xiaoming, wearing a Navy shirt, took a model airplane of "silver light" and Xiaoqiang, wearing a red dress, took his model airplane of "Red Lion". They came together and Xiaoming said, "tomorrow's game. Let's practice first." Xiaoqiang said, "yes, let's find a place to practice."
他們來到了草坪上，試飛開始了。小強的“紅獅號”飛起來了，但很快就落下來了。小明的“銀光號”在天上高高的飛著。他高興的又蹦又跳，又拍手又唱歌。可小強一點兒也高興不起來。小明說：“咱們把你的模型改裝一下吧。”小明想了想，他想起了在《當代小學生》上面學到的知識，揭開了這個謎。
They came to the lawn and the test flight began. Xiaoqiang's "Red Lion" flew up, but soon fell down. Xiaoming's "silver light" is flying high in the sky. He danced happily, clapped and sang. But Xiaoqiang is not happy at all. Xiao Ming said, "let's refit your model." Xiaoming thought about it. 他們重新試飛，兩架飛機飛起來了，像兩只鴿子在空中飛翔。小強和小明都笑了。
They made a new test flight, and two planes flew like two pigeons in the air. Xiaoqiang and Xiaoming both laughed.
第二天的航模比賽，小明得了第一名，小強得了第二名。
