我們南湖國際的十二月可不是普通的十二月，它可是我們一年一度的英語月。這次英語月的主題是用英語講寓言故事，每班派出一個小組到報告廳表演。經過班級投票，我們小組代表將班級到報告廳表演。一聽到這個好消息，我就激動得一蹦三尺高！一整天，我的神情處于恍惚狀態，老想象著我登臺時那熱烈的掌聲。
俗話說得好“臺上一分鐘，臺下十年功”。我們小組現在就要排練。我們的故事是《盲人摸象》，一共有四個盲人，分別是老盲人、矮盲人、高盲人、胖盲人，還有一個旁白，而我就是扮演那個老盲人。演出角色確定好后，我們就要開始排練。我手拿拐仗，貼上假胡子，開始流利地念出了我早已背得滾瓜爛熟的臺詞。本以為老人很難演，想不到我學得還挺像！我模仿老人的樣子學出了沙啞的聲音，只見我彎著背，馱著背，說著說著還故意咳幾聲……我對我以演技滿意極了！但是老師說我的語速還不夠快，我又努力練習了很久，離我們表演時間越來越近了。
終于到了星期二，終于到了晚上，終于到了我們演出的那個時刻。我有點緊張，顫抖地登上了舞臺，進入表演模式后我熟練地念出了臺詞，節目按我們排練好的順利進行。不知道過了多久，我們地表演終于結束了，可我的.腦袋還處于興奮狀態，恍恍惚惚中，只記得我拿到了獎狀，其它表演得怎么樣，啥都記不起來了。
這真是一次令人興奮、難忘的演出啊！
