光陰似箭，日月如梭，一轉眼我們便是六年級的學生了。我剛升入六年級，就聽見了一個重大的消息——我們班換英語老師了。這個消息像晴天霹靂般打在我的心頭，怎么突然換老師了呢？真不知是喜還是愁。
整理好心情，我開始想英語老師是個什么樣的人呢？是戴著眼鏡，板著臉，十分嚴肅的男老師，還是溫柔漂亮的女老師呢？就在這時，幾聲清脆的高跟鞋聲打斷了我的遐想。從門外走來了一位年輕的女老師，她濃黑的眉毛，一雙笑起來就瞇成一條縫的眼睛，高高的鼻梁，還有一張能說會道的`的嘴巴。她走上講臺，開始自我介紹：“xx班的同學大家好，我是你們新一任的英語老師，我姓錢，叫錢金，你們可以叫我錢老師。”聽完老師的問題，我心中不禁產生了一個問題：為什么老師叫錢金呢？反過來豈不成了“金錢”，難道老師的父母很愛錢？這時，錢老師悅耳的聲音又響了起來：“我可以給五分鐘讓你們問各種問題。”話音剛落，我們班的“機靈鬼”高雨城就舉起了手，說了一個我們大家都想問卻又不敢問的問題：“老師你為什么叫錢金呢？”這一問題遭到了全班同學的哄堂大笑，但這也是我們大家的心聲。原本以為老師會指責高雨城，可沒想到錢老師卻幽默地說：“嗯，問得好，去這個名是因為父母希望我長大后是個千金小姐，而‘錢金’又與‘千金’諧音，所以才給我取名‘錢金’。”哦，原來是這樣，我心中的疑惑解開了，同時也喜歡上了這位幽默風趣的新老師……一堂課就這樣在老師和同學們的歡聲笑語中結束了。
錢老師雖然幽默但也不失嚴厲。有一次，高雨城的英語作業寫錯本子了，錢老師知道后大發雷霆：“你怎么天天換本子，還把不把老師放在眼里？拿回去重寫，把前面的作業都補起來！”在錢老師的嚴厲訓斥下，高雨城低下了頭，乖乖動筆寫了起來。
這就是我的新英語老師，幽默而不失嚴厲。怎么樣，你喜歡她嗎？

However, people’s opinions about it vary from person to person. Some think that it has more problems than benefits. First, it is a waste of time, energy and money as it doesn’t produce any useful information and products. Second, it is misleading to its users because cyberspace is actually an imaginary space where things are unreal or fictional.
But the advocates of online chatting support it because it is another way of recreation which is both exciting and relaxing. Besides, it helps them release their emotions and worries freely and safely. To them, it is very useful and wonderful.
As far as I am concerned, whether online chatting is good or bad depends on the person who does it.

Good morning! I am Oscar, the spokesman of the Students‘ Union. On behalf of the Students‘ Union, the main organizer of today‘s sports meeting, I welcome you all to the beautiful stadium. After two months‘ preparation, our annual sports meeting is held on schedule.
Thanks to the support and help from our school leaders and teachers. Though they have many school responsibilities, they have taken time off to take part in our sports activities. Let‘s give them a big hand. Through sports, we can not only develop our physical prowess, but also promote social and emotional skills, and even intellectual skills, which will matter in our future lives substantially.
