"Animal farm" is a British writer George Orwell's works, the content of this book is very interesting, but seemingly camouflage in the fairy tale story, mapping connotation is actually very profound and thought-provoking, so we need to carefully taste.
The story is very simple, tells the story of a farm animal from human host oppression, resistance in the two pigs named Snowball and Napoleon led off farm animals, to achieve a "in power" desire. But soon the revolutionary pigs broke up, and one of the leaders of the snowball was declared by Napoleon as the enemy of the revolution. Napoleon, the leader of the pig, has gained more and more power to become the new privileged class. The slight discontent of the animals would lead to bloody cleansing, and Napoleon would eventually become a farmer like exploiter, and the animals would return to their former misery.
The animals in the farm symbolize different roles and classes. A male horse boxer but diligent and capable of ignorance, although feel contradictory thoughts and behaviors of pigs, but could not clear, the more hard work to his paralysis, symbolizes the desire for equality with the grass-roots democracy; herd is the ignorance of the masses, blindly deny everything for Napoleon, Napoleon said is correct; the donkey Benjamin represents the thinking of intellectuals, it is still oppressed that farm, just exploiters into Napoleon from farmers, the doings of Napoleon skeptical wise but themselves, so life is still low-key, cautious. And hens, cats, and so on. They all represent different classes.
In this revolution, farm animals are poor. They are like people on the bottom of society. They don't have lofty ideals or ambitions to create a better future. They just want to improve their lives. Pigs tell animals to build windmills to improve their lives, but in the end they can't even live up to their standard of living. The reason is that the fruits of labour are more exploited, because animals think that what they do is for themselves. The boxer shouted, "I'll work harder." I threw myself into my labor until I ran out of my life and sold it to the slaughterhouse. The exploitation of animals by animals is more deceptive than the exploitation of animals, deception undermines the resistance of animals, and the prohibition of singing the song of the livestock of England is also aimed at eliminating the resistance of animals. Without resistance, authoritarian rule becomes easy and long. The so-called "freedom" has become a thorough joke, they are only in the plight of silent struggle. As Zhang Yanghao - "shanpoyang - Tongguan huaigu" said: "Xing, people suffering; death, suffering people."
Orwell tells people with an allegory: "a post revolutionary regime, if there is no democratic supervision, there is no rule of law, must be alienated, it must go to his opposite.". The revolution always begins with anti despotism, as the old and young school says when it comes to animals: "the root of all evil lies in the absolute rule of man."". In fact, democracy requires no high quality, no need for knowledge, just a sense of responsibility. Only the people are really aware that they need it, and true democracy will come true.
Dolphin is my favourite animal。
It is one of the most precious animals。 Their bodies are very long, about one zhang(丈)。 Dolphins live in the sea。 They live on fish, shrimps and so on。
Dolphins are very friendly and peaceful。 They never attack people。 Instead, they have saved many people in danger in the past years。 How helpful the dolphins are!
Dolphins are very clever。 People often train them so that they can give a dolphin show which brings people a lot of happiness and joy。
Unluckily, the number of dolphins is getting smaller and smaller。 Because of water pollution, there is less and less space for dolphins。 Many people make money by hunting dolphins。 If we don’t protect them, maybe we’ll lose our good friends one day。 As a student, I hope more and more people should take actions to protect dolphins。
In ‘Zootopia,’ an Intrepid Bunny Chases Her Dreams
Easter is still weeks away, but pet stores may find that the added demand for rabbits the holiday brings will come early this year thanks to the irresistible “Zootopia,” an animated movie with an intrepid bunny named Judy Hopps at its core. Her fox sidekick, Nick Wilde, is mighty enjoyable, too.
This film, action-packed and filled with enough savvy jokes that adults should consider slipping into the theater even if they don’t have an accompanying child, is set in a world where animals have transcended the carnivore-and-prey dichotomy and now live together more or less harmoniously.
Judy (the voice of Ginnifer Goodwin of “Once Upon a Time”), a country bunny, wants to become the first rabbit police officer in the bustling metropolis of Zootopia, but her parents are not exactly the follow-your-dreams type.
“If you don’t try anything new, you’ll never fail,” her father (Don Lake) tells her. It’s a gag that encapsulates one of the best things about this film: It trusts young viewers to recognize the clichés they’ve been fed by other animated movies over the years and to appreciate seeing them subverted.
Judy graduates from the police academy and ends up on the force in Zootopia, but her boss (Idris Elba) relegates her to parking-ticket duty while more experienced officers investigate 14 missing-mammal cases. While obsessively writing tickets, Judy meets Nick (Jason Bateman), a world-weary hustler who slowly becomes her friend and adviser as she pokes her nose into the missing-mammal epidemic despite her boss’s resistance.
If you’ve seen the trailer for this delightful movie you’ve already had a taste of what might be the greatest takedown of bureaucratic ineptitude ever filmed. It involves a trip by Judy and Nick to the Department of Motor Vehicles, with its all-sloth staff. In the context of children’s movies, it’s a fairly daring scene, since in an otherwise fast-moving story the joke takes a loooong time to roll out. But it sure is worth it.
Anyway, Judy learns some hard truths as she delves deeper into the mystery, and young viewers will, too. Chief among those is one adults know well: Being civilized doesn’t mean tension and ugly thoughts disappear. Also, bringing about positive change isn’t as easy as it seems.
“I came here to make the world a better place,” Judy laments after her good intentions backfire, “but I think I broke it.”
Funny, smart, thought-provoking — and musical, too. Shakira provides the voice of a pop star named Gazelle, and her vocals complete the package appealingly.
“Zootopia” is rated PG (Parental guidance suggested) for gently rude humor and occasional scariness. Running time: 1 hour 48 minutes.
